Im impressed how the camera and the commentators start covering the accident.
How are they covering it, you think they got all the time in the world ah, this ndp not a place to be discussing accidents
He fall hardly because: By his body on how he landed, he seems to be tackling with some hard wind that is blowing him toward his left and not letting him go straight. He therefore probably falled down because the wind directions was blowing towards his left instead of straight. So the wind probably is the Suspect that cause his injury and hard landing.
And he didn't pull his toggles

I watch the video several times and during Shirley descend there was gust blowing across her left canopy. The major deference in her decent before the last lion (which to me is text book perfect in gusty condition by Shirley) was her approach was in line with the landing area way earlier and descending at the correct rate before making the final flare. Nothing to do with toggles, nothing to do with wind near landing time.

Tbh I think they don't have to change cameras to cover up the less than ideal landings, it's just cringey as heck. The red lions are humans after all, and that wind looks gusty as hell. Glad 3WO Jeffrey is doing okay.
I was at the NDP yesterday and we all stood up as we were worried for the poor red lion, we waved the flags as the mcs told us he was ok and no serious injuries were sustained

Wind conditions were bad... Last parachutist didn't SKID, he slammed. Wishing him a complete recovery!
Watched.few times. I feel sorry for what happened for Jeffery. I am wondering whether their performance was scheduled too tight or not. He looks like rushed. If there was a little bit patience, he would not be injuried. Bless Jeffery and his family. Hope his recovery will encourage all Singaporean! Let's learn from mistake!
It is an accident during a show.. Why did the 2 commentators & cameras have to make everything look good..as though nothing happened?

His body and movement of parachute shows that he's being blowed to the left and have a hard time adjusting.

SAF should design some kind of landing protection gadget like the air bag in the car or some king of spring shoe that can help in soft landing. When in emergency, can reduce the hard landing force.

In a war zone u want to be able to hide your parachute after landing asap

2. If can also use in war time, of cos is better. SAF will not be so stupid to design something that is big and not suitable for war time. BTW, in current day, if in war, the parasuit itself is already a risky item. You may be killed by a drone before you landed.
And also the landing location, not on road concrete type, hope 3WO Jeffery Heng is recovering well.

The camera cut away at the most interesting points! If there is a hard landing, we want to see it. It only makes viewers appreciate how difficult the jumps are. The guy commentator has to do better than read from a script.
He didn't even express any concern for the one who fell..he kept talking as if nothing has happened - blind to the whole accident..this is not good.

seems he did not gave himself ample descend distance like the only lady lion whereby even having wind disruption, it can still be in control . but what can see he try to do sharp drop to land in the coolest way possible in target, but ended up a hard landing. foreign experts should be able to analyse & elaborate further beside local staying supportive mode.
Should have aimed a curl...like the 2nd last jumper...it was too near the stage

This is what you get when you are overconfident, 1000 over jumps and land like clowns, those less than 1000 jumps all perfect landing, the guy with 2 over thousand jumps lands well too.

Yah wind don't affect those with lesser jump experience, wind only attack those lao jiaos making them landing with their backside, face and one landing in hospital.
