He therefore probably falled down because the wind directions was blowing towards his left instead of straight. So the wind probably is the Suspect that cause his injury and hard landing.
I watch the video several times and during Shirley descend there was gust blowing across her left canopy. The major deference in her decent before the last lion (which to me is text book perfect in gusty condition by Shirley) was her approach was in line with the landing area way earlier and descending at the correct rate before making the final flare. Nothing to do with toggles, nothing to do with wind near landing time.
Tbh I think they don't have to change cameras to cover up the less than ideal landings, it's just cringey as heck. The red lions are humans after all, and that wind looks gusty as hell. Glad 3WO Jeffrey is doing okay.
I was at the NDP yesterday and we all stood up as we were worried for the poor red lion, we waved the flags as the mcs told us he was ok and no serious injuries were sustained

If there was a little bit patience, he would not be injuried. Bless Jeffery and his family. Hope his recovery will encourage all Singaporean! Let's learn from mistake!

seems he did not gave himself ample descend distance like the only lady lion whereby even having wind disruption, it can still be in control . but what can see he try to do sharp drop to land in the coolest way possible in target, but ended up a hard landing. foreign experts should be able to analyse & elaborate further beside local staying supportive mode.
