- Many thanks to Frank Zicari owner of M & C Recording Studio for his great work in Mobile recording this live music. It wasn't easy, but he managed recording this music during many different events in many locations in USA and Canada which happened throughout all the years of Melody Night performances. Great job Frank.

+canadiangoose251 We played in Canada many times in the mid 70's. Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal, Vancouver, Dauphin Manitoba Ukrainian Festival. Band broke up in mid 80's. I wish we could do it all over again. Too old now. Thanks for your interest. Good music makes the world go around.

Hi Christina, the song on 46 min mark on the "On the Road" live recordings you are referring to is a Tango called (in Ukrainian Lety Tyzlyva Picne) (in English Fly My Lonely Song). This song is also on our volume 2 album side 2 track 2 or on RUclips it's the ninth song. Type my name in the search field and you will get all our music. Thanks for your interest. Enjoy.......Vic

You probably do not realise how much those Melody Night songs meant for us Ukrainians behind this soviet iron curtain.
Mere understanding that somewhere across the globe in the US some free Ukrainians sung the same songs we heard since early childhood from our parents and grandparents... It meant a lot! And still does.

NY ElTech Zdorov Yurko, Melody Night is no longer together, as you may know. I now live in Tampa, Fl. Retired and no longer playing the squeeze box. Too old and major back problems. Accordions are heavy and after playing since I was 10, I think it got to me. I don't plan on ever going back to NY, but if you are ever visiting down here, look me up. I'm listed everywhere. I spent my youth listening and dancing to melody nights music. In fact my husband designed some of the album covers. Sorry to lose some of the players but they are remembered by the music they played and we listen to. Great job Victor keeping this alive

Yes, we do get them in Canada, but only in certain areas. The west end of Toronto gets a lot. I'm an hour and a 1/2 drive from Toronto, so only Canadian and country music here. It's nice we have the on-line stuff to listen too.
