Lm10.eth
@@akshaygawde2327 That's a sick domain! How can I contact you to buy it. IG or something?
drop me some whenever you want. i am broke ;-) tru Story
Clear instructions, easy to follow. Registered my son's name. he's only 7. hopefully it'll come in handy for him in the future. bloody gas fees cost more than the name though :D
glad it helped :) and yeah.. gas fees are brutal on ethereum
So thoughtful of you!
It has come in already
ENS airdrop awaiting for 7 yo, gmi :D
@@thatguyintech Loopring's changing that
Thanks for the clear instructions. Gas fees ended up turning my $5 domain into an almost 150-200USD affair
yeah, gas fees are wild on ethereum :(
I don’t see it’s realistic to use Ethereum for the future when the gas fees are so expensive. Same thing happened for me. Bought a $5 domain for $150. Doesn’t make sense.
I can't wait for Ethereum 2.0 (ETH2)
@@FiveAkhi can we make ens on eth 2.0?
Yea they made there money already lol bout time no more gas fees doesint make sense we have to suffer for others losses

Very concise and straightforward, best of vids explaining the ENS domains thanks.
thank you for the kind words :)
Okay this is some next level programming... I didn't understand at all but this was very informative I'ma follow! 😃🙌🏽
I just stumbled across you and your ENS video, I am now subscribed, thank you
I'm the VR girl but crypto is definitely becoming more and more integrated into the space. Just created my own ENS based on your video. Thank you!
Keep doing your thing big bro ! Made me a lot of money with this video!
Gas fees prohibit the feasibility of this. Average price right now is ~$150 *per transaction*
holy shit yea i just went to go do it and I thought I was reading it wrong.
I just bought mine for 2 years for $10 plus $134 in gas fees when I originally looked it was $176 in gas then $202 the gas goes up and down! But still way to high 😭😭
If you're doing this for the first time, be sure to load up your account with additional funds for the gas fees as theres 2 or 3 points where it will charge you extra and can even total more than the ENS costs!
Ethereum can go to hell with their gas fees.
But we still bought it.
amazing video! very well explained, thank you!!
Bought mine over a year ago and my God…the airdrop was massive and paid off 100x over
yeah we really got lucky with that airdrop.. based ENS
this aged REALLY WELL haha
Insanely well lol
Also came back just to say this.
😭😭😭😭
hope y'all got an ENS name :)
@@thatguyintech I did and my £45 is now £73
i love the idea of this project so i got me a nice bag of ENS at the bottom around 34 euro. want to ride the wave from the bottom much love from italy
Dope advice! got mine last month :)

Genius bro !
Missed the boat but I'm subscribed now cause I see your tapped in g
living and breathing it
Thank you! 🙌🏽😃 Great video!
Great vid Albert! about to get one too!
nice! hope gas fees aren't too bad
Great content..keep up the good work. Just subscribed
appreciate it 🙏🏼
Great video. Any chance you can do a video on ENS subdomains and their uses.
great idea
Very interesting!! I’m guessing it could be worth registering for longer now, in case prices rise later
yeah that’s a good point!
Claim your ENS Tokens!
@@majormeddi I wish 😭 waited too long
@@majormeddi how do you claim?
Are you able to change where your .Eth maps to? Say in the future you have a new wallet? I’m assuming you can associate it with that address instead just have to pay some exchange fees?
Great Video! Thanks for making it. One question, how much was total fee you paid on 3 transaction?
Awesome Vid
I just went and searched for a common name and it says gas fee $210 and the registration for 1 year: $110. What is the deal? Everywhere on the internet they say these .eth names are as low as 0.02 eth, so what gives? anyone knows?
yeah the base fee is mine $5 for most ENS names but the gas fee (transaction fee) fluctuates depending on how active the Ethereum network is
is it more beneficial to have multiple ENS domains or one with multiple years tied to it?
Why we should buy a domains?
Let say for 1 - 5 years what we will do, please give me a reason…
How do you sell a minted domain?? I have it linked to my metamask address but can't find the domain anywhere in my wallet on OS or MM???!!! Thanks!!!
Not all heroes wear capes!
ty ser
I may have missed it but what do you mean by before it’s too late? Second, do you see companies in the future registering domains as an ENS? Thanks! 🙏
ah yeah apologies that was more of a clickbaity-title
but what I meant by it is that, while we're early, a lot of firstname + lastname combos are still available to claim!
for example, colbysmith.eth
maybe in 1yr, 2yrs, 5yrs, if these get really popular, you might miss out on a chance to claim your name
@@thatguyintech what do you prefer .ETH names vs unstoppable .crypto or .x names? I’m torn on which one to go with…
@@DerekEvan I've really enjoyed using .eth because there's really good integration across popular dapps right now
I have some .crypto names too but haven't really used them -- maybe they'll become more popular later as they build out integrations
Came back just to !vibe with the announcement of token airdrops
How to link to website
Awesome man why did u stop recording videos .
ah ya i need this. was thinking to ask u and lisa thay day. here we got the answer
i gotchu kenny
관상이 어쩜 이리 비슷할까
I'm confused here. Can you use the ENS domain to send other coins such as BNB, BTC, or is it just ETH?
It's only a name
I noticed how your account balance displays on etherscan. So you give you eth domain name to someone they can see what wallet address it’s linked to and check your balance. Where’s the privacy in that?
There is none, transparency is the whole point of crypto
If you're having to hide your balance probably shouldn't send them crypto
yeah i have accounts that are slightly more anonymous where i keep other assets -- for ones where I associate with an ENS domain I don't mind being public with my assets and transacations
Thanks for the content! Go Bears!
GO BEARS
thank you super easy. Do you have a video on how to set up/buy two ENS names? My guess is you make a second account in your metamask and follow the process again in this video but want to make sure (I know you own two ENS names following this video, but want to make sure)
What happens after the registration period expires? Say you only signed up for 1 year?
speaking of February 2022, does this still useful ? and what do it benefits us financially? thank you
I wanna know . What's a good difference between ens and unstoppable?
they offer different domain endings and integrations! Both seem like promising projects to me :)
I can see some people register ens domains for 1 month. How is it even possible as ens website does not seem to have an option less than 1 year?
We will need to get a domain for each wallet we have ? like one for bitcoin, one for ETH, etc?
Hi, and thank you for the video! Just a question, I have done exactly what you did for your domain. I have registered a domain for some years, gone through all the steps and fees. The domain is mapped to my ETH address verified on Etherscan. But still the domain is listed as available when i search for it. Any idea?
Nice video! What app did you pay through? I want to buy some but I dont have any etherium
The next big thing - Digital real estate in Web3
each time i click request to register its not going through, what should i do
Thank You..On Point...
I was at the page after registration where you can select the domain to map to that wallet address but I closed the tab. How can I get back to that page?
tried to buy eth but it says it doesn't support my state I live in NY
But what about hosting? How do we host a things under that .eth domain, your video highlights on ens names only
Belo casal! Parabéns. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Man my transaction has been taking more then an hour .. should I keep waiting?
Cool to have our own ENS name. how to put profile picture/Avatar for my ENS?
Can you change which wallet your ENS name maps too after you set it up? Like if I wanted to switch it to Coinbase wallet instead of my metamask
Thanks mate your awesome 🤩
Super nice video. Have you claimed your ENS tokens already?
Great video! For some reason, my Coinbase pops up instead of MetaMask. How do I default to MetaMask?
Now if i m going to buy it its showing gas fee.
Question: why should a normal person who does the average investing get a .eth? Or why shouldn't they? I know they did a recent token air drop but the cost of owning an .eth ENS for the everyday person seems questionable
the everyday person don't need it if he uses FIAT only. But if everyday person use crypto massively that spending 100$ for next 10 years seems reasonable. Currently gas fee is very high due to Air Drop. It will clam down. When i got my domain few months back for 3 years i got charged 80$ including gas fee. Seems reasonable . And i got airdrop also which is worth 1000s of $.
@@cmo the gas fees is now $317 lol.
@@Manoharan wait few months gas fee will reduce
@@cmo will there be more airdrops in the future? or is it a one time thing? I just got 2 domains.
@@dmok42195 it was 1 time airdrop only. But getting your desired domain now is good, because it will be massively used in web3.
Chibi Shinobi’s is a cool name btw
thanks
gas fees are crazy, I won't bother
I guess your metamask wallet was already connected?
Interesting. but ENS has been around for a very long time and is still not used. Is this technique difficult to apply?
Actually, there are over 420 (heh) dapps that have integrated ENS now! For example if you trade NFTs on OpenSea or if you do DeFi swaps on Uniswap, those dapps automatically recognize ENS domains.
@@thatguyintech thanks for reply. i didn't know that. does it apply to metamask too?
Does it matter if you have a .crypto vs .eth? Is one better than the other?
How to extend the term after expiration
If I buy an .eth domain Im assuming its only for the etherium blockchain?
Thanks for a gr8 vid
Kindly help how do I make it on Twitter handle?
what happens when the domian name expires? can you renew or or will you lose this in 4 years
how can i make a personal website using .eth domain?
is that possible register the domains for your futures sells in the future?
Amazing!
Gas fees make this a joke.
yeah :( so expensive right now
Why are the gas fees so much now ?
am unable to register , why is that
Why weren't you recommended to me months back lol
can we buy more than one ens domain under one wallet?
yup! I bought a couple that I thought I might want to keep
This name needs to be migrated to the new Registry. Only the parent of this name (eth) can do this. what does this mean?
Missed thsi one ;( do you have any other incoming huge airdrop?
why we have to pay 3x of gas fee in total?
Is it too late to get an ens name? The ones I want don’t exist so I’m thinking I can mint them? But I don’t see anything on the site to mint a new name or am I dumb
It’s on coin base
Can you go over subdomains?
good video
thanks
Thanks for help.
Can airdrops happen more than once?
Quick question, how do you transfer an ens name to a different wallet, i.e. I want to buy one and hold it for my kids?
Hey found your other video that answers my question, great content.
Great video. Can u a do a video explaining if u have more than 1 .eth name? How does that work?
I bought my name metta-jxx21 now if I wanna buy one off opensea. What happens??
if i buy it on OS, it will be maped to my adress ?
how if expired?
What could possibly go wrong??
gas fees :(
Thanks so much for this great video! I have 3 .ETH names but in Opensea, only one has a name, the others are unnamed. Do you know how I can update that?
Bro i have Sell 1 puccy.eth
10$ only. 2 bruce Le .eth. 10$ only. 3 oporno.eth 10$ only. 4 blue hulk.eth.
5 marshmallo.eth. more... popular only 10$
I fail to see how the ENS TOKEN gets value or is connected to this functionality?
Basically it is an address that also acts as a bank account/wallet/contract. So you can communicate with the entire Ethereum blockchain network with your address. So for example, if you own a business and your customers connect with their wallets, you can send money directly or request funds directly from one universal wallet( ens ADDRESS)
@@kossongushow thank you. I understand that. I even already do have my own eth address. What I am saying is : why is this a token? Or rather : why would the token have value?
If I buy .eth name do I own it forever ?? “Plz help “
So can you have multiple ens pointing to the same wallet address?
yup
