    You have to pay upwards of 100 bucks to get into stainless with Casio and timex. This watch at under 30 bucks is amazing .

    I am from the UK and have only just heard about the Armitron brand as they don't have any outlets here in the UK. I recently purchased the Armitron analogue/digital 'Ridgemont' watch and it really is a watch being fully stainless steel and a really good quality 20mm strap similar to your 'Rubik'. In reviews of the 'Rubik on RUclips they say it has mineral crystal glass and isn't acrylic. As the 'Rubik' is on sale at the moment on Amazon US for £32 I will be placing an order in for it. Thanks for your review and unboxing it certainly looks amazing for the price.

    Great watch. Backlight just like it was on the one I owned n the 80s. Stayed true to the original I think. Thanks for the review.

    Wearing the Casio A168 for the EL backlight. But I've been looking at these for the feel of steel. Thanks for the friendly look around.

    Cool little watch. I don't view the acrylic crystal as a negative on an inexpensive watch, easy to polish out scratches with polywatch. Can't do that with mineral crystal. I bought the armitron Griffy, fun
    Iittle retro, might have to get this one too. Cheers.

      Hi guys. I have one of these too. I don't think it's an acrylic crystal. I think it's glass/ mineral of some kind. Adds to the value of the watch and makes it more premier in my opinion.

      It has a mineral crystal, not a acrylic. I’ve got two of them an checked it out.

    wonder how long the alarm goes and volume compared to a Casio a158 for example

    I wouldn't be surprised if that bracelet is the same one used on some Casio models.

    Yes it is considered retro, but Casio are still bringing out brand new models hardly different from this

      Yes but this has a steel case where you have to pay way more for that in a Casio. I love my casios but I wish they had stainless steel cases at a better price

    Are the links solid or rolled

    • @ednammansfield8553
      @ednammansfield8553 2 дня назад

      The strap is rolled links but in my experience of wearing both the Ridgemont and this Rubik model it is very comfortable to wear. The strap is thicker also than the straps on a Casio and much better quality imo. The strap on these Armitron watches do not pinch hairs either on my wrist.
