Hey josh, just wanted to ask about using FG cleats on artificial grass because I have heard you say to not do that many times in past videos. I was wondering because BSC young boys play on an artificial grass field and when they played everton in Europa league it looked like most of the players were using FG clears at least as far as I could tell, I could be wrong, but u was just wondering about how big an impact wearing FG cleats on turf would make.
TheEthanAlbers It isn't the safest thing to do, although lots of people do it. The main reason why I don't recommend it is because it will have a major impact on the durability of your shoes, which is never the concern of pro players. You also have to consider that pros will wear what they're used to wearing, so for just one game it is unlikely that they would all switch to AG stud patterns that they've never used before.

Itswazzz If you like the vapor 10 and want the same fit/feel with a soft ground stud pattern, the SG MV10 is a solid choice. The Legend 5 is also a great shoe, but pretty much the exact opposite in terms of feel in comparison to the Vapor. It really depends on what type of feel that you're looking for.

Hey Josh! I'v been trying to wear in my Nike mercurial superfly 2 elite boots and noticed that my calves feel very tight after a few minutes of running even after stretching. This tightness slightly disappears when I swap boots. Both boots are the same size, why are my calves feeling so tight, sometimes its hard to continue training :(
E Nguyen Not sure, seems odd. I can't say that I've ever had that kind of problem. Maybe try changing the insoles and see if that changes anything.

NEED HELP PLEASE JOSH!!!!!! I have these boots but in the hyper punch color, they are brand new and i have not really worn them. I have skinny feet and they are very long so when the put them on the tongue part of the one piece upper folds or crinkles what can i do to avoid this? Please respond
Callum Sauer There's nothing you can do really. If they're too big, which is what I think you're saying by calling them very long, the problem will be more severe. If they fit snug, like they do on my feet in this video, that is much less likely to be an issue.

Sean Siasia No, that's just how it fits some people. There's nothing you can do about it other than tying your shoes a little tighter at the top.

Which pair of Nike cleats would you best recommend for wider feet?
Maximus Leather is always the best if you have wider feet. Something like the Nike Premier or anything from the Tiempo line are your best options.
Hey josh can you do a video on how to make cleats fit better? I bought a pair of nike mercurial victory IVs and my feet are the right width, but my toes are a few cm away from the toe of the boot. Any suggestions?
JebVenom That just means that your shoes are too big. Other than growing, there's nothing you can do to solve that problem other than getting a pair of shoes that fit you properly.
When my cleats are feeling a bit big, i often double-sock. I'll usually wear a very thin church sock, or any other thin sock beneath my club socks, and it usually solves the problem.

Hey Josh, a while back I made a comment about my pair of vapor Xs crumpling up at the tongue when I tied them up. Those were size 10, so I bought a size 9.5 and 9, but even they are still crumpling up at the tongue, I'm afraid to go smaller because now the width is starting to feel a bit narrow, I think my feet are really thin but somewhat long because I fit just right in a size 10 magista obra, but I prefer the mercurial line. Do you have any suggestions? Should I try half a size smaller?
Mike Flores It doesn't make any sense that you went from a 10, down to a 9 and there is still room in your shoes. How big are you wearing them? The Mercurials, and soccer shoes in general are deigned to fit snug/tight. Your feet should be snug to the sides of the shoes. They aren't supposed to fit like a pair of running shoes.
I'm don't think I'm wearing them awfully big, I mean my feet don't slide around or get blisters when I wear a size 10 in them. There is room, but I don't think it's too excessive. I've tried a 10.5 before but I felt the sliding sensation in those, so I didn't get them. And I figured since I fit in a magista size 10, I should order the same for the vapors. But I'll start ordering mercurials smaller if I get more.
Josh, I have ordered the magista obras in the blue black volt colorway and a lot of reviews are saying they have very bad durability. Is this true?

Obed Ake Assuming that you're referring to the Veloce 2, I would personally pick those, but they're both great shoes. With that said, they're quite different from each other when it comes to feel, so it depends on what you want.

SIR SWAGSALOT You've named several shoes that are all very different from each other when it comes to feel. Your position has nothing to do with what shoes you should wear. You should be picking your shoes based on what type of feel that you like.
