The last time I saw Rahsaan perform live was in March of 2019. He opened at Yoshi’s, in Oakland, with this song, setting such a beautiful mood throughout the venue. I am from the old school generation, but consider this amazing singer one of the greatest I’ve ever heard.

I've seen Rahsaan performing live last wednesday in Paard van Troje in The Netherlands. WOW.. what a great perfomer.. lovin' him..
I still remember that Long Beach Performance when Rahsaan jumped off stage and looked straight at me (pouring sweat and Music working him out that night) which the only thing I could do was hold his face in both hands and kiss him on the forehead. As a student of Music, this was the 1st time I stared in the eyes and Kissed MUSIC. A few days later, I got his album and saw track 11 ( my lucky#) named April's Kiss. I was blown away. A few weeks later I won tickets and backstage passes to Rahsaan's show at the HOB in Hollywood. A small group (including 2 April's at this time) got to hang out with him. My friend tried to get Rahsaan to give up this beautiful ring. He was kind enough to let her wear it while we were hanging out. We had the pleasure of running into you Rahsaan again at I believe Mint Condition or Lalah Hathaway's Show which I remember you saying to us "You guys are familiar." Which I chuckle because I don't think you realize we're the same friends from Long Beach. Thank you for your passion in the Art of Music.
Rahsaan and Shanice both industry legends, folks! Both started out so young, too. Definitely need Shanice back in the studio more, she's been missed quite a bit ever since hubby Flex (Alexander) swooped in and "put a ring on it" (lol). Live set was bangin', too!
