Introduction to climate risks and the TCFD Framework

CDC hosted a webinar with climate consultancy Acclimatise on climate risks and the Taskforce on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) for Financial Institutions.
The webinar unpacked key climate terms, examples, and business applicability in our markets against the TCFD framework. TCFD is now seen as the best practice framework for financial institutions and businesses to integrate climate considerations across their risk and management systems.
As of February 2020, support for the TCFD has grown to over 1,027 organizations, representing a market capitalization of over $12 trillion. This first session is part of a series of three webinars on assessing climate risks and opportunities.
