Was skeptical about this until I saw you throw it… just purchased the 4 foot like you were throwing… tks for the discount code…keep up the great videos
I saw the video to the end. Six foot radius might be a good size for your purpose (water not real deep) and still easy enough to throw and open. Just don’t spin yourself off the bow!
Yea I use a 8 footer without ring. It’s easy once you get the hang of it. Just gotta practice. And it needs to have a lot of weight with 1” holes Gonna be hard pressed to catch anything in that thing. And big gizzards freeze really good
This video was very informational... Looking forward to seeing more tackle Tuesday videos... May I suggest try reaching down an arm length on the 8 foot and holding it by the ring and then do the same thing as you would the 4 footer... Great job Brother... Happy Fishing
I’ve had several of the ring nets and they do work well for those that are not as attuned with a normal net. Good video!
Cool, thanks!

Thanks! I may do an updated video. I bought a 5 footer and have come up with a better way to toss it. At least for me!
@fishingwithbilly can you describe what you do differently that is working well?
Thanks so much for the great content!
Thanks for the net!
I bought one, and Appreciate you showing me how to use it buddy. Great Video!
Awesome! Good luck!
Thanks Billy! Enjoyed it Sir
You are welcome!
Nice dude! They just sent me one too review as well. 4ft.
I need to get my hands on their new 5 footer. They told me its not in stock currently.
I will have to look into these nets.
Don't forget about the coupon code in the description!
how do you catch creek cubs? Using a minnow trap?
Yes and with a rod and reel. I did that here: ruclips.net/video/S2D1oIy6CP0/видео.html
How would you rate the spreading effect of the ring vs without? I'm not very good at throwing a regular cast net.
I’m not good at tossing a normal one either. I think it’s opening easier.
The ring loses its value over 4ft. 4ft rings you can cast with one hand perfect pancake every time.
There’s a six foot version. Might that be a more optimum size to cover a wider area?
They make an 8 foot version too, which is shown at the end of the video. I have not tried to toss it yet.

Did you let it sink to the bottom?
Yes

I will have to get that. Thanks!
I have the 8FT, I’m 6’2” and I still have issues casting it. Probably not holding my mouth right 😂
Spot mancing yang sangat indah , smoga harimu selalu bahagia temanku👍❤
You too kamu juga
I go through at least one or two Kathy Nets a year because of the Riff Raff under the water.
Me as well... it's unfortunate but that's how you have to do it for shad... no skipjack where I live so... always tearing them up
The last normal one I had lasted 3 tosses. They are all easy to lose lol!
Can't use them in Calif. I think it's because we also can't use any game fish as bait, can't even use carp - go figure
Can't do much of anything in Cali. They basically banned gold prospecting with the laws and rules over it.
You can still gold pan just can't use a dredge. One thing we can do in Calif. is pay taxes. 😆 @@Capt_Billy
First problem is California
where's them american gizzard shad
Not where I was at!
