@@philip5940I take your point but aborigines were never "nations" they were tribes or clans, people related by ancestry or marriage and sharing common beliefs and languages. Read former Federal Circuit Court Judge Stuart Lindsay's: How the Left Has Captured Professional Associations. Australia Day shouldn’t be cancelled,
The date should be changed tho, so that ALL Australians can celebrate their country with dignity.
We shouldn’t be celebrating our country on the anniversary date of the English coming here, raising their flag and starting 200+ years of dispossession.
January 26th is clearly not the right date for Australia Day; because not all Aussies can celebrate together.
And it’s clear that all the people who want the date we celebrate our country to be changed are the 4 out of 10 Australians that have daily contact with Indigenous-Australians, who have respect and good relations with Indigenous-Australia.

It’s a shame that the vast majority of Aussies have no contact with Aboriginal people, therefore do not understand or value their input in their own country.
The Change the Date crowd are the most patriotic of Australians and love Australia, and want respect and dignity for all Australians.
January 26th is not a date we can all celebrate together, it’s the date that commemorates when the English came here started to disposess and disrespect Aboriginal people and culture,
it’s the start date of 200+ years of murder, forced assimilation, slavery, marginalisation, oppression and Grape.
It’s not even the date Australia was founded as a country, nor was it the date captain cook discovered Australia.
January 26th is not a date all Aussies can celebrate, so it should not be the date we celebrate on.
Sure maybe we should call January 26th colonisation day or something of that sort,
but it’s shouldn’t be Australia Day, and it’s incentive, exclusive and immoral to celebrate our country on a date that it’s commemorative of a negative history for a portion of our populous.
Change the date we celebrate Australia Day for a better more unified country. ☮️✌️

If you aren't a full blood then you are not an Aboriginal, you merely have Aboriginal heritage.
Like Langton, Mayo, Thorpe et al must admit that they have as much European heritage as Aboriginal heritage and as such they must acknowledge that their ancestors stole this land from their ancestors.

@@Mali-kuValdes It is a strange situation, how do you see yourself?
      Aboriginal, English, Puerto Rican, Australian?
My ancestors were a mixed bag, but I'm not German, English, Scottish or Irish nor am I a Norman or a Viking.
      Simply I am an Australian.
We should all shun the faux Aboriginals at the top of the food chain, whilst they pretend to care they are only centralising power and taking away the resources from those that really need them.

The Aboriginal Industry, has a fair share of unscrupulous and questionable characters. But, who cares about that after the dangerous trajectory of the 'Voice Referendum'. Can you imagine the outcome for Australia if the 'Voice' had won!

I have a friend who lied about her daughter saying she was part aboriginal just so her daughter could get special treatment in high school. She was failing most of her classes until her mother lied to the school and suddenly she was in a aboriginal school program and her grades went from d’s to a’s and b’s. Her mother told me she did it because she was told that’s how it works in that town for aboriginals, give them passing grades or they won’t attend school.

Everyone who is born in Australia should register as indigenous. It’s tru, and it would make the discriminatory system useless and meaningless.

Up to date Science can give fully detailed, accurate, historical ID! All such candidates should now have a full generational, genetic history done, not just a blood group, before being employed! These people deny the opportunity for genuine applicants to emerge.

If he was signed off on and accepted by 5 Indigenous elders of a certain mob then he is Indigenous. If someone is claiming to be Indigenous and belong to a certain country and the elders of that country say he is not from there than he is probably not.Simply asking elders from where he is claiming will give the answer.
