XR Healthcare: Intro to AR/VR and Its Applications in Healthcare

Our first speaker in the series is Brian Hui. Brian is a Product Designer who currently works as a Consultant for Sogeti, Part of Capgemini. In this video, he gives us an overview of AR/VR’s various use cases in different industries, its growth factor, and various applications in healthcare.
About the speaker:
Brian has a background in print media management. He understands the profound impact creative media and experiences can have on people. Whether it is creating an augmented reality apartment hunting experience, a mixed reality art-viewing experience, or even an e-commerce website, Brian strives to create things that can enrich humankind and help people live better lives.
From 2018 to 2020, he worked in a start-up environment where he used his UX skills and applied them to augmented reality as well as web and mobile. More recently, he is helping Sogeti’s clients optimize and improve their e-commerce experience, including seeding AR ideas where they make sense to be included. He’s passionate about AR/VR and UX and volunteers his time as a Co-Organizer for the Brooklyn Product Design Meetup as well as leading Communications & Brand efforts with MIT Reality Hack.
