I hope you enjoyed your wine Alf...but you know there is a 110% chance Zoe has an adorable wine stopper somewhere specific where all the wine stoppers go, right?? 😁😝 love you both!
Here’s the recipe I got from rewatching the video in case anyone wants to know. I’ll be giving it a go Sunday 😊 Red cabbage Olive oil and white wine vinegar drizzle over the cabbage Cauliflower, olive oil, salt and pepper, onion granules, honey Fry cauliflower on medium until cooked through Brown all over, kind of crispy and soft in the middle Accompaniments Feta Avocado Parsley Lime Sour cream Jalapeños Salted Doritos style crisps broken up
I really found this video great, it was so chill and entertaining at the same time. Perhaps you could film more of these as you are planning on cooking more often. Also a little tip; when you're holding a wine glass you might want to hold it from below (from this pillar it has) so as to not change the temperature of the drink and change its taste. Lots of love from Greece! :))
I love simple - at home kind of videos , this is the real life , you dont have to worry about doing something fun for youtube , just a normal dinner at night your house ❤️
Future self is really good idea, i actually already have been thinking of doing things and be committed on them, like u said reading books, going to the gym and uploading more often , thank u so much for the talk, really hits me
Hey Alfie! As a pro wine drinker I have one tip for you. If you're opening a bottle just for yourself -which is usually the case for me- and you dont have toppers just get some tisue paper curl it up and stick it in the bottle tightly 😅
I never really comment but I just wanted to say it makes me happy seeing the new future self merch on ..a more diverse range of people. Inclusivity is so important in a brand in my opinion!
I love how you said cooking with alfie and zoe and you barely did anything 😅😅 those tacos look so good! I'm definently doing them once the recipe is up on zoe's blog👌👌
30 days of future self potential ideas: 1. Never forgetting to appreciate and tell the people I love that I love them 2. Wake up earlier in the day 3. Don’t let dirty laundry pile up 4. Go on more walks rather than go for a drive
Karolina Xox the spoon thing is a European practice that was supposedly supposed to help keep an opened bottle of champagne bubbly for later.... the myth has been debunked. It doesn’t work, but people still do it out of habit
Karolina Xox avoid putting red wine in the fridge, white wine in the fridge with rose but red is room temp. Fun fact that’s why you’ll see people holding white wine by the stalk of the glass so the hand heat won’t warm up the glass but with red wine they hold it by the bowl of the glass as it’s already room temp.
I want to starts eating healthier , get better sleep and work harder. Started today with 10hours of sleep , a healthy smoothie, breakfast bar and fruit, school starts tomorrow and I'm feeling good
Flip the cork upside down to reuse it. Fill glass to widest part of it (not as high as you did) to let a red breathe a little. You might enjoy going to a tasting at a vineyard where you can learn more about wines and your personal preferences. Also, prime photography opportunity as most vineyards are pretty.
First!! I haven't watched you in years but rejoined for a but with the Secret's Out then left again but now I've rejoined, I'm LOVING the vlogs and I'm here to stay!
Wine is to be poured just to the curve of the glass. Also pro tip, if you’re putting the cork back in the wine bottle- flip the cork and use the side that is not wine stained. The cork side that was in the wine is expanded from the liquid while the other side is not. :)
You can flip the cork over so the bit that was in the wine to begin with is facing outward and then you are able to put the cork back in, as the only part of the cork which expands when you remove it is the part where your opener stuck into.
You could also turn the cork upside down and pop it back into the bottle. I do that all the time since I don't really use wine stoppers :) It's good for at least a couple days (I find). Cheers!
Out of all the alcohol in the world wine is still the one thing i cannot stand😭😂I've tried everything from shooters to ciders to whiskey and I've liked it but I cannot get into wine to save my life😩😳
*Psstt* Alfie... If you don't have a stopper you can put the cork back on the bottle, but upside down and it'll fit :P That recipe looks delish! I can't wait to try it!
Hay Alfie! I picked up a small bottle of Bombay Sapphire Dry Gin yesterday, haven't tried it yet but always think of you when I see Gin so I thought I'd try it.
Cauliflower is honestly such a staple in my life as a vegan!! Try oven roasting until soft and slightly browned with salt, pepper, nutritional yeast, garlic and onion powder with a tiny bit of cumin and chili powder, a bit of olive oil; oh my godddd its literal crack.
I loved watching Zoe instruct Poppy on how to make a taco! As a Texan we eat Mexican food at least twice a week and fajitas is one of my favorite things!!! 😋🌮🌯
You can use the same cork from the bottle of wine as a stopper, just turn the cork upside down. It works almost most of the time, except if it’s a sparkling wine or champagne.🍷
Lol you can just put the cork back in the other way around! You can do that with all wines except Prosecco and Champagne. Also, a couple red wine suggestions if you're looking for bold flavor without too much of a full body and dryness, I personally really love 12 e mezzo Primitivo del Salento as well as the Red Schooner Voyage 6. I'm not very big on reds, but I have a new found appreciation for them because of those 2 wines. I hope you can find them and if you do, enjoy!
Literally was just thinking that I need to start drawing again. I've been going consistently to the gym for three weeks now too, so yea I am going to be a part of this 30 day challenge thing.. just to have some kind of goal and motivation
Wine 101 1) purchase the book “Wine Folly.” It’s on Amazon it’s everything you need to know about wine in easy pictures 2) buy a wine vacuum pump and stoppers it’ll make your wine last 3) you can stick the cork back in if you flip it around to the other side 4) wine snobs will say you poured too much, but honestly you’re gonna refill it anyways so you’ve saved a trip. welcome to the wonderful world of wine!
Loved the video🙂 the recipe looked amazing 😍 just wish you would have filmed more of the rest of your night though, seemed like it would have been a fun one 😊

I love the simplicity of this.. just a casual more in depth part of your day instead of tiny snippets throughout.. love the style change super cool!

I hope you two will do vlogmas this year! Autumn-Winter is my favorite time of the year to watch your vlogs for some reason! xx
loved this!! you and Zoe need to do more cooking videos
It's been 4 months since I watched an Alfie Vlog. I didn't know how deprived I was of your videos until this one. Keep up the awesomeness Alfie!
"I'm really getting into cooking" Alfie, you literally just stirred what Zoe cooked! 😂
"So it's gonna be a fun night" walking away with his bottle of wine 😂

Please make this a regular thing thank you
Okay I’m not a religious watcher, I kind of just dip in and out these days but this kind of video is my vibe. Love mundane little snippets like this!
Future self is really good idea, i actually already have been thinking of doing things and be committed on them, like u said reading books, going to the gym and uploading more often , thank u so much for the talk, really hits me

Who wants to bring back... #DIYDeyes and Alfie’s Daily vlogging!
Yaaaasss! 🎈💕💕
You can cut the cork with a knife and put it back in, or use foil as a cork 😉
Hey Alfie! As a pro wine drinker I have one tip for you. If you're opening a bottle just for yourself -which is usually the case for me- and you dont have toppers just get some tisue paper curl it up and stick it in the bottle tightly 😅
I dont know why the ending of this video made me laugh so hard " Sooo.... it is going to be a fun night" hahahahahahahahaha I love it!!!
I absolutely love these old fashioned chill vlogs! xx
More please! :)))
this is the kind of shit I've missed
Supposed to let red wine breathe for like 30 min before drinking. That's why it tasted so strong at first
No you don't, you put meatballs in a frying pan! You tell im Zoe 😂
Nobody:
Alfie: it's gonna be a fun night 🏃
I’m legit dying right now 🤣 he legit ends it With I guess I’m gonna drink the whole bottle of wine gonna be a fun night 😂
I never really comment but I just wanted to say it makes me happy seeing the new future self merch on ..a more diverse range of people. Inclusivity is so important in a brand in my opinion!

you flip the cork to fit it back into the bottle.

Alfie, thank you so much for loving Zoe.
Put a spoon in the wine and put it in the fridge Alf, don’t ask me why it’s what my mum does and it works😂😂
Karolina Xox the spoon thing is a European practice that was supposedly supposed to help keep an opened bottle of champagne bubbly for later.... the myth has been debunked. It doesn’t work, but people still do it out of habit

Love seeing you eating veggie 🥰💚
I want to starts eating healthier , get better sleep and work harder. Started today with 10hours of sleep , a healthy smoothie, breakfast bar and fruit, school starts tomorrow and I'm feeling good
Fun fact, in México we call the green one lemon and the yellow one lime. So for us Mexicans your taco has lemon, as it should !!!
Joseph Espinoza is this real?! I never new that
Flip the cork upside down to reuse it. Fill glass to widest part of it (not as high as you did) to let a red breathe a little. I clicked on this so quick. Love seeing you two together!!!!
First!! I haven't watched you in years but rejoined for a but with the Secret's Out then left again but now I've rejoined, I'm LOVING the vlogs and I'm here to stay!
Zoe wearing a white sweater cooking = daring. I could never!!
Really loved the style of this vlog for some reason(: The footage being raw and just normal!
You dont need wine stoppers just put a teaspoon in x❤
HAHAHAHA THE INTRO
pia marie I love it so much!!!! So good

Love seeing an old school vlog Alfie, miss them! Those tacos looks great!

Read wine spectator for a good wine rec! Also pour about a fourth of that. Also I believe those are white wine glasses, you need bigger ones for red.
You could also turn the cork upside down and pop it back into the bottle. I do that all the time since I don't really use wine stoppers :) It's good for at least a couple days (I find). Cheers!
Out of all the alcohol in the world wine is still the one thing i cannot stand😭😂I've tried everything from shooters to ciders to whiskey and I've liked it but I cannot get into wine to save my life😩😳
Try it in little bits especially red with food. That helped me get into it and now it’s my preferred drink along with gin and I used to HATE gin
I have been watching for over 6 years now! Thanks for sharing your stories!
Alfie is me whenever I drink wine 😂
*Psstt* Alfie... If you don't have a stopper you can put the cork back on the bottle, but upside down and it'll fit :P That recipe looks delish! I can't wait to try it!
Wow why did I actually really enjoy watching you guys cook
Hay Alfie! I picked up a small bottle of Bombay Sapphire Dry Gin yesterday, haven't tried it yet but always think of you when I see Gin so I thought I'd try it.
Susan Harper one of my mums favourite
I love sitting here doing homework/revision while listening to your vlogs ❤
In the pan with Zoë& Alfie😂🙌🏼
Cauliflower is honestly such a staple in my life as a vegan!! Try oven roasting until soft and slightly browned with salt, pepper, nutritional yeast, garlic and onion powder with a tiny bit of cumin and chili powder, a bit of olive oil; oh my godddd its literal crack.
I loved watching Zoe instruct Poppy on how to make a taco! As a Texan we eat Mexican food at least twice a week and fajitas is one of my favorite things!!! 😋🌮🌯
This recipe is amazing! Please do more of these :(
a homemade wine topper thingy is a little spoon! We always do this at home, it works well x
Can they have a baby already 😭💕
Was literally thinking the same thing
This content reminds me of when you were in the old house together.
Love it 😍😍😍
Zoe please start making cooking and baking videos again
Love this! More vegetarian/vegan cooking please! So many benefits to our planet as whole :)
You can use the same cork from the bottle of wine as a stopper, just turn the cork upside down. It works almost most of the time, except if it’s a sparkling wine or champagne.🍷
Poppy saying she eats scrambled eggs with jalapeño is sooo mexican of her hahaha
This was such a cute fun little video Alfie! I like it! 😊
If you don't have wine stopper, you always can cut from sides of cork so it is like a pencil tip and then stick it back in the bottle.
who else misses the daily vlogs?
Literally was just thinking that I need to start drawing again. I've been going consistently to the gym for three weeks now too, so yea I am going to be a part of this 30 day challenge thing.. just to have some kind of goal and motivation
You need to get on a wine tasting event find out what you like.
Love Alfie and Zoe so much x
Definitely doing the 30 days! You are such an inspiration! 😚🖒💗💕🎈
Felt like a really long time since your last vlog although you still instastory a lot but this is what I miss most!!! ♥️
I love your jumper Alfie😍👌🏻
I've already started the 30days challenge because of school. I already feel 100 times better❤
Wine 101
1) purchase the book “Wine Folly.” It’s on Amazon it’s everything you need to know about wine in easy pictures
2) buy a wine vacuum pump and stoppers it’ll make your wine last
3) you can stick the cork back in if you flip it around to the other side
4) wine snobs will say you poured too much, but honestly you’re gonna refill it anyways so you’ve saved a trip.
welcome to the wonderful world of wine!
I'm watching this and I'm like I WANT THIS TOO
You should try the app "Vivino". You can find a list of every wine on there and you can just scan the label to see the ratings.
Loved the video🙂 the recipe looked amazing 😍 just wish you would have filmed more of the rest of your night though, seemed like it would have been a fun one 😊
Alfie, you could put the cork back in. Just flip it over and push it in. It should work
use the back of your hand to check if the pan is hot. Palm face up. The back of the hand can detect the heat better
What was that intro though?😂I love it!!!
I LOVE ZOES HAIR 🥺😍😍😍
The food is looking goooddd! Also ordered the Bottle Green Future self Hoodie. I'm very excited for it to arrive :)
Wow what a bonus! Poppy!!!!
Love Zoe and Alfie cooking 😂😂😂
Flip the cork and pop it in, with the red part showing outside the bottle. It’s slimmer by it was pressurized into the bottle, so it fits👍🏼
11:40 ---Perfect Pour Mate --- (with wine its up to the widest point) usually about 150ml--200 ish (200 ish will do a white ... I should really test this myself to be sure) but thats what ive heard (im a Whisky type myself -- #28yearsold )
We all love a home made tripod!!! Hope you read this comment!! Love you lots❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I put the cork in upside down, it's not swollen from the wine so works great!
i want the recipe
That intro seemed so happy but so sad I was like right this is it 😂😂
You should leave the cork out for about half an hour before you dring to let the wine breath, trust me it's worth doing 💙
this upload made me so happy
I laugh so much every time they say taco 🌮
I'm doing 30 days of Future Self and I'm so excited! I have so many plans! :)
