Can someone please tell me why whenever I make cotton candy it always shrivels up within minutes? I've been thinking of starting a cotton candy business. I bought a cotton candy machine for home use to to try and get the feel of it first. The cotton candy always starts out great, (round and fluffy)but within 5 minutes or less, it shrivels up😢. I don't know where I am going wrong. Would be helpful with any tips.

Does the flossine end up turning into little red balls of flavor within the sugar? I asked a cotton candy maker at my local state fair if I could try some of the sugar and it had little red balls in.
