I love the look of these Oly cameras, the OM10 had some problems with stuck leavers which is an easy fix but even when you're not using it fire off a few shots and crank the leaver. Personally I think the MTL5B is one of the nest mechanical cameras for its robustness.
Maybe, just maybe, your expectations have been skewed by the number of sponsored videos on RUclips, often extolling products which are actually, well, crap ...?
The thing that i dont get is why are you keep buying om10s from the moment you say that you dont like it.. and also, when you say om10s in plural, how many exactly have you bought...? I really dont get why you spend money on buying cameras you know beforehand that are not what you need. Just to buy them? Nice video anyways.
At the moment I don't have the manual adapter for my om-10 I have gotten some decent shots with with the aperture priority mode. I compared it's light meter against a light meter app I have on my phone. Just select the same ISO insane aperture on both devices and see if they both pick the same shutter speed when aimed in the same area. I also use a hotshoe adapter with a PC sync Port so I can use off camera flash what's the camera since it lacks its own PC sync port.
I still own a mint condition om10 with power winder remote shutter release manual adapter lenses flash filters case manuals my partner found on ebay for £45. I had an om10 when i was in my 20s and i feel you are just being a snob.
Hey Max, love the content. I am looking into shooting my fitness/gym content in the New Year, and was wondering what you would best recommend for this? I will also be shooting outside too.
I used mine for nearly seven years until the shutter magnets developed a problem that meant it stayed open too long. I could have had it fixed but wanted a change.
The OM-10 just isn't really a very good value. They sell for ~£100 on eBay at the moment, but the OM-1 and OM-2 go for the same price point and are much better cameras.
Sorry fell asleep with your enthusiasm
brain rot comment
these are great compositions
Thanks dude
What about the OM-20?
Holding an almost 50 year old, perfectly functioning camera in your hand and complaining about build quality....
If there are better cameras for the same price, what makes you continue to buy OM10's if you don't like them?

Youre so negative, dude

The exposure meter is extremely accurate in aperture priority mode and less accurate in manual mode. Read the manual, and you will see why.
If you really want to over/underexpose your shot, you can do it using the film speed dial, it even has marking on it for exposure compensation
Great video, I was given an OM10 , I like it for the size. The results have been fine for me.
I have an OM 10. I don't mind the Zuiko lenses. However my favorite Om lens is a third party 28 mm 2.8 macro made by Petri.
I took a lot of pics with mine. I like how you can get the chromatic aberration when you change the speed a full stop.
What's the name of the music? I love it
Hey whats your video setup, i love the vintage look
Loved my om10 to bits, although the lenses do fall apart, my 50 and 28's aperture ring just didnt turn
love the lut of the video
Ei man what’s the name of the app you’re using at 4:10?

The reliability issues are surely a peril of using a camera that is up to 46 years old.
What happened with that first shot on it?
is the camera filming this video the are showcasing if its not whats the name of it?
Do you have any idea what your talking about
