It seems clear to me that this young man is very brave and open minded within the scope of his faith and living in a community that suppresses open discussion about sex. I believe that the young man is using a very rational approach to understanding vague rules in the modern world. I applaud his courage in talking about this subject and for expressing ideas that endanger his social standing in his community.
