We use to rollerblade around one of the popular local lakes and then either go eat at 1 of 3 Thai restaurants she knew of that made the BEST Pad Thai EVER(where my love for Pad Thai began lol)or we'd get the ingredients to make one of the Thai dishes she taught me how to make 😋

I first heard this song while riding in the car with a friend. The volume was low, but still, it caught my ear, took my breath away.
My parents transitioned last year, and my mom's birthday was approaching, Nov 17th. I played this song over and over because it soothed the anxiety that was upon me. Thank you so much, Leon Bridges, for sharing your gift with us. ❤
I love this collaboration! khruangbin and Leon Bridges both really understand the context and the culture of the music they reference stylistically. They are retro but futuristic and it goes way beyond just simple esthetics, there's actually knowledge, art, and context behind the look&sound. Refreshing!

Damn ! Imagine Khruangbin being an opener 🙌 just them saw twice back to back in nyc. Leon didt join sadly I wanted to listen to this tune and Texas sun plus midnight. They took some other band from England. They were good just not my vibe as it was jazz. The saxophone player named Garcia had huge highs that pierced my eardrums too much and I winced every time she did lol

I just wanted to say that I didn't know the existence of this band until last thursday that I saw them play live in primavera sound (09/06/22) and it was, honestly, a journey... just three instruments, three people playing them and pouring their heart and soul into them that I felt the music immediately.
