- Genesis 19 is an account of the judgement of God against Sodom and Gomorra. However, the interlude between the first half (establishing Sodom's guilt) and the second half (God's just wrath) of the chapter is a beautiful picture of the mercy of God extended to and through the righteous in the midst of his judgement.

12 Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or anyone you have in the city, bring them out of the place. 13 For we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.” 14 So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, “Up! Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city.” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting.

The USA had become a modern day Sodom. Our forefathers must surely be turning over in their graves. The things we see practiced in our country were never even dreamed of in Sodom. God forgive us! We bow down in agony before you for the wickedness that is ever before you. Thank you for your mercy. We cry out, "how long?" must we endure the wickedness we see? Thank you Voddie for reminding us of the Judgement and Mercy of out Father.
The forefathers were freemasons and part of the opposition. America was never righteous. Grow up.

the Gospel; because no man will ever of himself be able to come to Christ, but God must first approach him by his Spirit; and hence it follows that all are not drawn, but that God bestows this grace on those whom he has elected. True, indeed
Thanks for the explanation for generational curses. I had someone tell me that is why my son was in ss relationship and I needed to pray God would release the curse. I was in turmoil for a few days and realized it was because what she told me was not accurate and it wasn’t sitting right with me. Thank goodness God set me straight ad I pray daily he will choose Jesus over his desires
All glory be to God, how sobering has this been to me. What a conviction and a humbling reminder of my preconverted state and even the sins I sin now as a Christian. I am overtaken by Gods love and kindness-by His mercy.
