What a pain!!! Amazon account linked, Blink application in settings shows Amazon linked. However, there message that the free subscription has expired will not go away and now videos are being recorded.
Thank you for the great video. Since the blink cameras are Amazon products, can I sync the camera's storage with the AWS S3 Bucket? It would be great if I could store all the captured photos and videos in my AWS S3 Bucket.
Ive got a problem. I have no option to link my subscription to my device. My amazon account is paired fine. Amd it is the correct account. But until I figure this out I'm stuck with no recordings now the free trial has ran out. Apparently this is a common problem. I havent rang them yet because I've read they are fairly useless at solving ths issue. I'm very frustrated, as it's installed at my 80 year old mothers house so I can help to keep her protected. Any ideas? I'm pretty good with technical stuff, but I'm stumped on this one tbh.
I’m having same problem . It says at checkout on Amazon you have to link device to your subscription . But on my phone I don’t see that bilutton to link it in checkout . 🤦🏼♂️
Just figured mine out . I was purchasing the subscription thru Amazon on my explorer and it wasn’t the same account I had in the app . Just make sure it’s charging the right account
@Jody 2swole I had to ring them. I had to sign into my amazon account using my phone number and not my email then re link them. Very weird problem and I never would have thought to do that without the woman telling me to try it.
@Jody 2swole It didn't make any sense because it was the same amazon account. I just had to log into it a different way. I was a bit annoyed when I realised I'd have to pay a subscription after a year, but it's only £2.50 pm. Just whack a USB stick in if you want to keep anything long-term. You don't have to pay for the premium subscription then.
Thanks for posting the video, I'm wondering as I only have two Blink outdoor cameras, so you think I could subscribe twice in the basic plan to cover bother cameras, because it would be cheaper than taking out the Blink plus subscription plan.
Yes you're right it would be cheaper and even for up to 3 cameras and yes according to Blink you would need to subscribe to a Blink basic Plan for each device. See this link on how to purchase multiple blink subscription plans. support.blinkforhome.com/en_US/plan-management/purchasing-multiple-basic-subscription-plans
Yes you can still get the subscription plan but you will need to buy the subscription plan from Amazon. They do give you a free trial to test it out first.
Don’t do it though Amazon it keeps charging my credit card and dinging it if you can’t put on you debit card don’t do it I trued to get these turds to cancel no go
There is no blink plan option in my blink settings
Why isn't blink plans an option on my settings
EXACTLY !!!
Mine doesn't show, I need help
This process only works if you have an existing Blink Plan. The options shown in 'Settings' are not available if you don't already have a Blin Plan.
so how do you get a blink plan?
So how do I get the subscription again??

Thank you very much! I wish I'd found your video before any other instructions!!! Easy simple and straight to the point.
You’re very welcome
