The script of the video makes a great point: that feeling of watching someone reach the pinnacle in any field is truly remarkable. Greatness is something to be celebrated, but it must be healthy. Do I think Jon Jones is the greatest MMA fighter of all time? Yes, I do. However, the term "GOAT" has evolved through time, acquiring a deeper social meaning. It’s always incredible to witness *how* Jones defeats his opponents. As time passed, though, those victories (at least for me) stopped evoking any emotional response. There aren't even any negative feelings attached to it. My point is that, considering how he’s handled his career, those wins ceased to hold any emotional relevance for many people. When you repeatedly make the same mistakes and continue to claim, in front of cameras, that you’re becoming a better person without actually showing any evidence of it, you end up revealing yourself as a hypocrite. The rise and fall both need to be fleshed out in detail by one of the best youtubers we have, and I know you will do it justice. It's like there were 2 different human beings... or maybe after he used the law of attraction and succeeded in becoming the UFC double champion AND fought floyd mayweather, the fire in his soul had burnt out... A 2 hour documentary on Jones? This one will be legendary
Let me know how you feel when you finish
@@lionelrivera_MMA It was an amazing video. I personally disagree with the last (5th) loss of Jon's career, but regardless everything in this documentary was perfect. Great quality, tremendous editing and very good story telling. I hope that the fight between Jones and Tom happens. It will be absolutely legendary. Personally I'd be rooting for Jon in that one. Let's see how things go man
Sick drop! Thanks 😘

Lionel!! If you ever read this, I just wanted to say two things, one, your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels in all of youtube! I am extremely picky about quality of videos, and you pass with flying colors every single time.
Second, (and I know, I'm nobody) but if i could make a humble suggestion, If/when you do a video about Conor McGregor, you need to make it a 2 parter. The rise is so jarringly different than the fall, and i feel like it could be a huge 2 part success.
Either way, I love your channel man, this one was another amazing watch! I just had the idea and figured it could help not only make 2 great videos, but double your income off of the mcgregor machine 😉
Thank you for always telling stories the right way.
I appreciate you bud. But 2 parters are only for active fighters. When I get there I get there. I appreciate you bud
@@lionelrivera_MMA Respect, you're the man! Just had an idea and thought i'd throw it out there!
Thank you again for the content. I'll be watching!
