Just told my fiance about how i used this robot to trip my dad when he was carrying the food he was making for one and a half hours just for him to have the toy dancing behind where he was turning and trip over it and spill the food everywhere
The best thing about this robot is when you leave it on, after about 5 minutes, it suddenly springs to life and makes a loud noise which scares the s**t out of you!

I got one of these from a thrift store when I was a kid. It didn't have a remote and I didn't know it should have one. Spent so much time figuring out what it was supposed to do, if there was a secret button or something!

Just found one on a yard sale for 8 dollars, I always wanted a robot like this when I was a kid.
I just showed this to my gf and told her me and my bro had one when we was a kid and how it was ahead of it’s time and how we broke it 😊

The nostalgia is too much holy shit
I remember when my brother got one of these for his birthday and it would randomly wake up
TY that isn’t normal for it
I still have mine, fully functional and everything. W toy as a kid

Just found one at the salvation army for 10 bucks!!! Fully functional, only had ti out new batteries high.
Yay awesome!!!

RoboRaptor’s back!
My little bro was scared shitless of this thing.
This reminds me of the 24 skit featuring bobby lee and john cho
I remember this used to scare me
I have a green one that I still own to this date since I was a little boy. The speaker no longer works on it though.
that was not my problem since I knew how those work but the problem is how old had mine for 15 long years then got a blue on A FEW MONTHS AGO BLUE had DIED OUT and yes white was dead in 2015 then blue 2022 white was well built lasted a long time but with no remote since it the old remote droned in the shower blues remote is still good but no robo-sapien since blue just died but yes agree green is truly rare got a soldering gun so I may fix the speaker since I've don it before and yes the sensors everything torn mine down so many times white died right before the blue came out in 2015 when I got the blue one by 2016 it was around until 2022 a few months ago had him working with out the arms it died once I got them back on so about a year the ones made now is how long they're made to last but the 1'st one was from 2007 to 2015 blue 2016 to 2022

but the speaker part is way easy if you have a soldering gun and something to hold the wires on it got plenty from over the years one speaker was burned right through after four months it died and I made a new one with new improved twisted wiring all you need for this whole thing is a soldering gun also they glue that stuff that is huge reason why they don't last long now since you'd have to re solder the entire thing back together which is why mine died out plus it needs a magnet to hold it down solder it until it melts through the plastic helps it vibrate in directional input to make it sound louder and once connected back on it sounds just as good but it did not live long after I did a costume paint job on my 2016 blue it was later black and white with blue eyes that green shell is super rare the only thing out of these robots remaining is MIP sadly had all these for years they all died out one by one
all mine had was the leaning side to side that made it walk was broken before the springs cut out and the motors wire was shortened and fried the cable to the circuit then the on off power switch died that's all that was broken once I tared it back down plastic broke on the back that held it in and the part that held the legs got plenty of other stuff but they keep dying one by one over time R2-D2 andd plenty of star wars stuff remain with MECCANOID G15 And recently a new robot CAREL came along replacing this plus it flows alot better since its on those wheels and walks the same way
