This was an interesting find and I appreciate the knowledge and the history. Is the first Nations member in treaty 7, it meant a lot to me to find out more about my treaty 6 descendancy. Due to intergenerational trauma that my parents grandparents and great-grandparents experience before me some of these teachings were missing for me to find those connections. I do you know now that on my late grandmother's side we are descendants of Papaschase. My grandmother was a gladue before being married out in maskwacis at residential school. My chapon, was a member from Poundmakers camp. 😮 Sooo much told it is overwhelming at times to find my bloodline
I am a descendant of Big Bear and we were the road allowance people. My mother permed her hair to be a white women. I am not ashamed and I will come if my people want me to. I fought this world on our behalf and I will fight till I die for my grandchildren. This is not about me.
Please tell all!Get it on APTN! I can write whar I know about the native version of Canadian history on a postage stamp! Now,both the native and non=native have a common problem: GLOBALIZATION!
Well spoken our Chief
