- Welcome to our Boef Habiba reaction!!! This is our latest video reaction from our new music reaction channel Beer’s & Bars. Here we listen, react, and breakdown bars while enjoying some of our favorite beers. Today we extended our stay in Europe as we witness an amazing fun performance! This video is very interesting and Boef was a great surprise to us. From the delivery to breakdown of lyrics and most of lacing it over a monster of a dance track we can see that this was a match made in heaven. From what we’ve witnessed, Boef has a one-track mind and he has tunnel vision only for the wealth and not wasting anytime with distractions. This is one hell of a way for Boef to explain his vision. with the sentence 'I often had to run from the police man, but now I'm insured I have policy man' he means that he is now insured (rich) and he has policy. Here in the Netherlands and Belgium when you are insured you get a policy number that is actually your insurance. He is very good at playing with words.

When you are listening for the lyrics i recommend anything by Mocro Maniac. He is a Morrocan Dutch rapper that spits bar after bar, mostly known for his sessions in the booth. Also, he uses alot of English words so i think it's kind of more understandable.
Great reaction! He's maybe the most capable rapper from our country. I always said that Dutch Hip-hop died when Opgezwolle (Dutch Rap group) got disbanded but Boef really started something. Awesome artist but maybe a little to commercial nowadays.

Habiba means (darling sweetheart) and Zina is a term for a beautifull girl. So the chorus is aimed at a girl/girlfriend. Saying sweetheart why are you stressing me out beautifull. I'm on the streets with thieves, i have to earn so do not become too in love.
The polis line is actually amazing. A polis is a number that people receive when they get health insurance.
The line roughly translates to :
So often I had to flee from the Police man but now i am insured I have a polis (health number) man.
I saw the KNIGHTCRAWLER comment, but trippie also has a song with SKI MASK called TOILET WATER. It is crazy , also dutch music now 😭

The subtitels are just explaining the lyrics. If you understand the language it hits diffrent
The subtitles have a lot of literal translations of dutch sayings and words which causes the subtitles to kind of miss the point.

There is a sly problem if you can understand Dutch. This rap is written in a specific Dutch slang. You wouldn't understand it at all + you have to understand a few Moroccan language too. The big cities have different forms/kinds of slang cause there are different kinds of hoods.
