This is everything you want in a Jinjer song The second half of the song goes super hard almost thrashy then gets into the odd time sig stops chugs and slurs I'm very pleased with this Imo Roman is a very underrated guitarists 😊 🧐🤘✌️

you are absolutely right, without Roman Jinjer wouldn't be Jinjer, it's that simple!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been a guitarist myself for 40 years in different genres, rock, funk, acid jazz, fusion... and what you say about Roman's guitar work, sorry but I don't agree at all...
Roman is no less important than Vlad and Eugene, this band needs every single musician to gain the recognition that is now growing worldwide!

Hmm, I didn't recognise any downplay or negativity on his talking about Roman. Textures and rhythm are Roman's signature instrumental contributions - which make Jinjer and Roman's playing immediately recognizable. I always have Alex Lifeson vibes listening to Roman. Like in Rush, bass, drums, lead melodies from voice (or keys in Rush) give so much reason to counterpoint with guitar playing. Exactly the way I like it (as a King Crimson core addict).

Starting with King of Everything they went from two guitars down to one. That was no doubt part of the change.

Lol so u probably prefer their early in your face metalcore ish type sound from cloud factory instead of the recent proggy groove metal type sound since vlad joined the band.

I mostly agree but I also really love the direct, aggressive drumming from Cloud Factory too. I think both styles are great in their own ways

    Excellent reaction, thanks.
But your relating to your own preferences as musician and music lover with Jazz leanings hit me hard, when you later mentioned that you prefer Inhale, Cloud, and King over the stuff which started with Vlad joining on drums, whose playing at its core accentuation is Jazz.

Vlad's drumming is excellent and, for the most part, what I keep coming to the newer music for. But the song writing post King is very different than their older stuff and that's what usually doesn't click with me.

I listened to it on my own when it came out. If I had more time I would love to revisit it on camera though.

I dont know if you still taking bands to check on but in the case that you are.
Give a look to InDharma, they are a brazillian Rap/Nu Metal band.
Players is a their best in my opinion, but Ansiedade and Caminhão sem freio are also bangers

Wait, you are reacting to A NEW SONG?

  • @richardjones38

Wallflowers bounced off me a bit too relative to its predecessors. It has some great songs, but others have too much harsh vocals for my liking. More of a mix like this is much more my cup of tea. Can't wait for the album.

They have a new song that's nothing but harsh vocals. They played it live a few days ago.
