Sad to hear the engine blew bro. Mine did as well and it was piston number 1 too. I was running E85, m50 manifold and 15 psi on a m54b25. I think my head started lifting at that level and eventually blew. I had a few other rods that were bent so it was coming. Keep up the good work.
Hey man! I am largely inspired by your videos and am also building a turbo engine based on the m54b25. I purchased the same turbo and exhaust manifold. Your experience is interesting and really helps keep me going. Thank you. If you find opportunities to keep making videos, do it! Good luck!
I was just wondering what happened to you!!!! :D And I'm glad you are back, I have a 325xi and thought about turboing it. but either way I love your content, keep jamming!
Man we all gotta adult at some point but thats what it takes to continue your passion in the long run. Glad youre back and the car is running again, dont worry youll figure out the idle issue and be rippin again soon 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Turbo: More custom (more potential for headaches), but more potential for power with the simple switch of a wastegate spring, addition of a boost controller, etc. SC: Simpler, set and forget setup, but less power potential. All depends on your power goals, application (HPDE, drifting, or daily driving), and mechanical inclination.
@@nuisance_carl daily driving mostly, I'm not too good with cars, i don't need a lot of extra power, and the box is auto. Would love more torque from the bottom too. Guess supercharger looks better for me! love the stututu though :') Thanks for reply.
Good to see you back! My e46 is still sitting in my garage :(
Congrats on the house bro.
You should build a m54 b30 stud it re build it upgrade oil pump and go for 350 400 bhp perfect drift car that’s reliable 👀
Thanks! Hopefully I can make this motor work but we'll see!

Thanks! Luckily, the new motor is running strong.

Thank you, means a lot!
Would love to see the 2.5 get going with your setup.
Check my last video lol

"Same" is an understatement lol
2.5 ganggg ayyyyyyy :D
ayyyyyyyye
Glad you're back bro, hope you keep pushing content.
Will Try!
@@nuisance_carl thanks for come back men, i start my build becuse of you!! how much HP do you have with the 2.5?
Definitely ordering one soon!
I gotchu whenever you're ready!
you should re-install your icv, i’m sure it’ll help your idle problem & make tuning her a bit more easier
That's what my tuner said as well. I'm definitely considering it
bro please stay dont leave again. Car meets are a great place for content🥺
m54b30: turbo vs supercharger, wdyt?

@@spx730 Yup, supercharger is a good fit, but if you absolutely want turbo, get a good kit.
@@nuisance_carl thanks 😊
What was the reasoning for switching to a 2.5L?
Mainly availability. It helps that they're cheaper, and I'm not pushing for crazy power.
how much hp make the 2.5 now?
No dyno #'s. Butt dyno says probably around 320whp.
@@nuisance_carl good reliable number, waiting for the dyno video...
@@juajo55 Not going to lie, very unlikely I'll dyno the car lol
