Freezing my ass off in the UK, rainy and pitch black by 16:30 - I need some of the North Carolina sun! Anyway - looking forward to see what numbers you can hit in this beauty!
Can’t wait to see you mod up the car. I have an 18’ m240i I’ve been slowly working on and love it every time I drive. looking forward to see where you go with yours. Good luck!
Btw thanks for the recommendation in Houston. I went to ABR and Euro charged both are extremely excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. Gonna have my 340 running like a champ.
Umm... I got a m240i xdrive too and mine did 332awhp bone stock, and 371awhp stage 1, 412awhp on stage 2 93oct 88 degree day all ots MHD maps. Only way to tell if your car is underpower or if that dyno just reading low is to make some 1/4mile run or 60-130. Mine clocked 3 consistent 12.4@110 bone stock and 11.5@119 stage 2. I also did 11.1@125 on stage 2+ on E40 fuel.
No sir. DA and Temperatures play a huge role. Under those conditions the car was going to be underpowered anyway, that’s why I wasn’t too worried. If I do the same testing right now in this colder weather I would yield higher numbers.
If u flashed the stock tune, so u could take the vmax off, is it possible u actually detuned the car slightly? I thought the m240 had a better tune from the factory, and if the stock tune was for the 340/440, could that be why your stock numbers were a bit lower than u expected?
No. The flash simply removes the vMax, the stock power map is literally a stock file. The power was lower than expected for 2 reasons: 1. The car is AWD so there is a bigger drivetrain loss that I didn’t account for and 2. It was 100°F when we were on the dyno and the fans simply cannot supply the amount of air necessary for the car to take advantage of it. Once it is on the street with denser air I fully expect the car to pick up some power.
@Goven Why not 440? Looks great(more proportional than 240i in my opinion) and has all the tech. I love HUD, I always have the accurate speed right in front of me and keeps me in check. Even the navigation, music and phone display on HUD is pretty useful. I honestly can’t imagine buying another BMW without HUD but that’s just me.
440i is heavier and seeing as I want to bust some B58 records it doesn’t make sense. Also, I haven never owned a coupe so it was something a little different for me. Also also, the HUD is cool to have but these base models don’t make the best use of them IMO. The ///M HUD interface is much more useful.
@@NoClutchGarage makes sense for you, I was replying to the guy who commented above who probably just wants a good all round car for daily use and not trying to set any b58 records 👍
Not bad numbers for such a hot day and multiple pulls. I'm sure you got some nasty timing pull-backs on those runs.

Nice to see you rolling back out again. I use Mg Flasher for my M140 and cannot fault it at all. Brilliant OTS tunes on there.

That’s crazy that 290 whp can whoop a lot of other cars asses that have double the power love the b58
With the right mods yes
Love those numbers and yes my guy that is some hot AF temps in there. Good numbers off stage one with those AITs.

Bro I'm so excited for you! I miss my car so much. Looking forward to the new content
Back to back 298 when its that hot…not bad. Look forward to the mods to come.

So…my fbo stage 2+ pwg n55 is basically equal to a stage 1 b58.
Raced my mates n54 1m hes on E50 and i was stg1 and yeah it was neck and neck. He was pulling slightly. So sounds about right.
Can you make the hxp trans flash video so I can do it on my 340i !
I already have one! ruclips.net/video/H10q_I7bfG8/видео.html
Hey man i love the vids. I see you have MG flasher any particular reason you switched from MHD?
My tuner preferred it as it has more logging items available. Also, the features are top notch and the custom code is more advanced.
Dude I want one
What happened to your 340
Go back a few videos
I thought stage 1 would make a little more? Maybe it was the heat? Since you did a few pulls already before that
I really do not care much for the numbers OTS maps put out since I always go custom tuned in the end anyway.
@@NoClutchGarage jw because I’m stage 1 right now lol. Probably won’t go custom for a while too
Yeah conditions were not ideal
how do you feel about the lack of some tech like the hud on the windshield etc. coming from the 340i? i’m trying to decide between the 240 and 340
Honestly I don’t really care for it. If it had been more useful in my 340i maybe I would be a little more upset

Oh gotcha 😂 my bad
What was the WHP?
Watch the video
what year did you get your m240i?
17
Anyone know the password for the mods list link?
Haha bro, I have that locked on purpose since I am redoing those pages. Will be unblocked in a couple weeks!
Haha you’re good man, I’ll make an announcement soon!
The graph is so messy not smooth at all !
AWD and bad tires
Dude stop talking
