You should try the reusable plastic bags from Grove. I bought some a year ago and they have saved me tons of money. 😊 I also use binder clips for resealing bags in place of chip clips because you can get 20 of those things for less than what you pay for 1 chip clip (and they come in tons of sizes and colors!). Plus, binder clips can handle freezer temperatures with no issue, and they don't take up as much room.

Put a sheet of aluminum foil in your measuring cup. When the grease hardens just wrap up the foil and toss it! Then you don’t have to clean the measuring cup lol!
I hate that you mommas that do cleaning on RUclips have to defend cleaning up after your kiddos!! I think a lot of us do that!! Yes, we want them to be productive citizens who clean up after themselves, but they are also humans who we can be kind to! I don’t think it hurts anything for them to come home once and a while to see that their mom (who loves them dearly and has done a kind of act of service for them) has cleaned up for them. I can’t think of a better way to model to them to be kind than by being kind to them. You’re doing a fantastic job and I’m sure they appreciate you!! ❤️❤️❤️
I agree so much! My daughter is the biggest helper when she’s home but if she comes home to a clean room after a long day of school she is so appreciative!!
Yes!! Especially since they're already so busy with school and after school activities and then its homework, dinner and washing up and then to add a bunch of chores on top of that leaves little time for them to unwind. I do very few chores while they're in school compared to summer. I think good grades are most important and it can take a long time just to get all the homework done.

Sweet Amy - you are doing a good job raising your kids. I am your 71 yr old Texas grandma friend and I say do the best you can to teach them responsibility but don’t sweat it if they or you don’t do perfectly everyday. Other things are more important. My girls had horrible messes in their rooms and I would try my best to get them to clean and I would help them at times too. They both turned out to be kind, responsible, Christian women with clean homes. On the fridge, I wipe mine out every Tues because Wed is trash day. But I do zone cleaning and every 5 weeks when the kitchen zone rolls around I clean it from top to btm and inside out. Love your videos. Blessings to you and your family.

Seems like everyone is a ‘Parenting’ expert. You just do you and what works. I pick up after my kids as they go to school, study for hours after school and work. I help where I can to help ease their stress and it’s a family unit. Everyone helps where they can. ❤️
New to RUclips found you last week after watching some kon Marie videos and so, so, so blessed by your channel! I’m trying to find my new normal after taking care of my parents starting 3yrs ago. (Moved them in w/ us so I could help mom care for dad who had Alzheimer’s) Mom passed suddenly 2 yrs ago 10 weeks after being diagnosed w/ cancer and so Then i cared for dad day by day. He passed last month, July 19th. They were married 61 yrs. he missed her. A lot! They are together again 💕. It was an honor to have them with us. Hard. But worth it. I miss them. Now, just me, hubby and 16 yo daughter again. I’ve been stuck. I needed your example and joy to help me catch my breath and restart life again. Thanks for all you share! John 10:10 hugs xoxo

I've been going through sort of a depression lately, and I am so glad to say that your videos help me so much in my daily life. it motivated me so much I cleaned my house in what felt like months. cleaning is such a hassle for me lately and most people don't realize that personal hygiene plays a really big part in depression. after I cleaned the house and lit the last candle, I cried. i was so relieved. so, thank you so much for helping me be me again. :)

After hurricane watch down here in Miami... my house needs some desperate cleaning! Yay for motivation. I don’t clean out my fridge as often I should but maybe every two months? Hello ! What I usually do with the bags as I emptying the out, is I hang one in the cabinets knobs and put the rest inside it. That way I don't have to pick them up later on from the floor. Love your videos ♥️

We live in Newnan Georgia and we drove down to Columbus to visit with my dad from Saturday night until this morning. I was solo Saturday morning until 2pm when my fiancé got home so didn’t get any cleaning done until I watched this today after we got back! Traveling with a 7 year old boy and a firecracker 20 month old baby girl had me completely drained but you pushed me to get up and the house ready for the week!
I can't imagine having to evacuate; be safe! I agree about the Walmart pick up and the over use of bags. We re-use them also; they make great trash can liners!

70,000!! That's wonderful, I hope I eventually get there. We're a busy family too and it is really hard to have the kids do chores every evening. Spending time with them is just as important, don't feel bad!!
I have twin girls who are 6 and share a room and a smaller house, but one thing I’ve done is create “zones.” Art table, living room, play room, and bed room. One of them is much more “Type A” like me and she cleans the art table and play room. The other is great at picking up and folding, so she gets the living room and bedroom. They’re responsible for “making their lunches” and cleaning up after all their meals. They love their chore chart and love the $5 that comes at the end of the week. Saving up for some Boxy Girls!

I've been battling so hard the past couple of months with my depression and anxiety, so I had to take a step back and get back to being me. I have missed you ladies so much while I was gone. I'm trying really hard to play catch up on what I've missed while I was absent. As always, you never ceases to amaze me with your sweet and bubbly personality. You always get so much done and with a smile. I hope all the kids are doing well and the hubby too. I also pray y'all didn't get hit to hard with the storm. Glad to be back my friend. Hey Amy I love your videos! I work for Walmart and do the on line grocery picking so I thought I’d give you a little heads up on why you have so many bags. When we receive an order and are picking it, it gives it to us in the order the store is payed out. We always try to keep like items together, boxes,cans etc. And with switching categories all the time and bagging them so you can fit as much in each tote as possible sometimes we do have to waste bags. Drives me crazy because getting the bags open is probably the worst part.
With a 3 yr old I LIVE for Walmart grocery pick up, I make my bed most days, and we love cats but can’t have pets where we live currently 😭 I got dishes done and pickup in our bedrooms. Thanks for your amazing videos!

Girl my kids clean up after themselves but sometimes I do it for them too. It’s crazy the things people assume about others they don’t personally know, especially online. Don’t apologize or explain to anyone for the way you do things in YOUR own home. Just because you do it for them doesn’t mean that they don’t ever do it either. I am here for the cleaning motivation and all the fun stuff, so you won’t get any advice/judgement from me on what you should be doing! You just do you and what works. I pick up after my kids as they go to school, study for hours after school and work. I help where I can to help ease their stress and it’s a family unit. Everyone helps where they can. ❤️

New to RUclips found you last week after watching some kon Marie videos and so, so, so blessed by your channel! I’m trying to find my new normal after taking care of my parents starting 3yrs ago. (Moved them in w/ us so I could help mom care for dad who had Alzheimer’s) Mom passed suddenly 2 yrs ago 10 weeks after being diagnosed w/ cancer and so Then i cared for dad day by day. He passed last month, July 19th. They were married 61 yrs. he missed her. A lot! They are together again 💕. It was an honor to have them with us. Hard. But worth it. I miss them. Now, just me, hubby and 16 yo daughter again. I’ve been stuck. I needed your example and joy to help me catch my breath and restart life again. Thanks for all you share! John 10:10 hugs xoxo

I've been going through sort of a depression lately, and I am so glad to say that your videos help me so much in my daily life. it motivated me so much I cleaned my house in what felt like months. cleaning is such a hassle for me lately and most people don't realize that personal hygiene plays a really big part in depression. after I cleaned the house and lit the last candle, I cried. i was so relieved. so, thank you so much for helping me be me again. :)

Hello ! What I usually do with the bags as I emptying the out, is I hang one in the cabinets knobs and put the rest inside it. That way I don't have to pick them up later on from the floor. Love your videos ♥️

We live in Newnan Georgia and we drove down to Columbus to visit with my dad from Saturday night until this morning. I was solo Saturday morning until 2pm when my fiancé got home so didn’t get any cleaning done until I watched this today after we got back! Traveling with a 7 year old boy and a firecracker 20 month old baby girl had me completely drained but you pushed me to get up and the house ready for the week!

I have twin girls who are 6 and share a room and a smaller house, but one thing I’ve done is create “zones.” Art table, living room, play room, and bed room. One of them is much more “Type A” like me and she cleans the art table and play room. The other is great at picking up and folding, so she gets the living room and bedroom. They’re responsible for “making their lunches” and cleaning up after all their meals. They love their chore chart and love the $5 that comes at the end of the week. Saving up for some Boxy Girls!

I've been battling so hard the past couple of months with my depression and anxiety, so I had to take a step back and get back to being me. I have missed you ladies so much while I was gone. I'm trying really hard to play catch up on what I've missed while I was absent. As always, you never ceases to amaze me with your sweet and bubbly personality. Hey Amy I love your videos! I work for Walmart and do the on line grocery picking so I thought I’d give you a little heads up on why you have so many bags. When we receive an order and are picking it, it gives it to us in the order the store is payed out. We always try to keep like items together, boxes,cans etc. And with switching categories all the time and bagging them so you can fit as much in each tote as possible sometimes we do have to waste bags. Drives me crazy because getting the bags open is probably the worst part.

Q1. I get my groceries delivered, I find I save more money that way and it can be difficult with 2 young children.

Girl my kids clean up after themselves but sometimes I do it for them too. It’s crazy the things people assume about others they don’t personally know, especially online. Don’t apologize or explain to anyone for the way you do things in YOUR own home. Just because you do it for them doesn’t mean that they don’t ever do it either.
