Niş Sırbistan'ın güneyinde yer alan ülkenin üçüncü büyük şehridir. Bulgaristan sınırına yakındır ve Balkanlar tarihi ve büyük şehirlerinden biri olan şehir, uluslararası karayolu üzerinde yer alır.
Sırbistan'ın üniversite şehridir Niş. Gece hayatı çok hareketlidir. Nüfus genç kesimden oluşur.
Niş Konstantinopolis'in yani bugün ki İstanbul'un kurucusu ve ilk Bizans Kralı olan Büyük Konstantin'in doğduğu şehirdir.
Niş önemli bir sanayi kendidir aynı zamanda. 15. yüzyılda Osmanlı topraklarına katıldı bu şehir. 1978 Osmanlı-Sırbistan savaşı sonrasında Sırbistan'a bağlanarak günümüze kadar gelmiştir.
30.000 üzerinde üniversite öğrencisi vardır. Tüm şehrin nüfusu 190.000 civarıdır.

Nis is the third largest city in the country, located in the south of Serbia. It is close to the Bulgarian border and one of the historical and major cities of the Balkans, the city is located on the international highway.
Nis is the university city of Serbia. Nightlife is very active. The population consists of young people.
Niş is the city where Constantinople, the founder of today's Istanbul, and the first Byzantine King, Constantine the Great, was born.
Niş is also an important industry itself. This city joined the Ottoman lands in the 15th century. After the 1978 Ottoman-Serbian war, it was connected to Serbia and has survived to the present day.
There are over 30,000 university students. The population of the entire city is around 190,000.
