Im from New Zealand and the Rations have changed since i was in the NZ Army but they are still similar the mystery can is cheese. the chocolate klinkers are like a hard chalky candy in chocolate :) The Tomato sauce is a brand called Watties and the noodles are Maggi brand. The ANZAC biscuit is a biscuit that was made for the New Zealand and Australian Army personal deploying to war. ANZAC "Australian New Zealand Army Corps" taste of oats and honey. Thanks for reviewing my Country Ration Pack.
90's and it wasn't a lot different. Meat meal was in a can and it was campbells, chocolate bar, noodles, condensed milk, biscuits, cabin bread, tea & coffee. But that was the whole pack.Pretty sure it was 1500 calories. 5 packs in your FSMO, alongside a claymore, and radio made for a very heavy pack. :-)

I love your enthusiasm and passion for what you present Ive watched a few of them now, keep it up Comrade.
Small thing with our ration packs (main meals at least) you can use the packaging as the “bowl” just boil/heat the water and pop in the food inside the container, less mess and better cooking. Some of us also found a good way to make cheesecake with those packs. A good surprise for a rough day :) us kiwis know how to make the most of our food

that's why he's the best
The little tin that didn't get opened contains cheese. The condensed milk is used as milk (with heated water) for the muesli and hot drinks. Only thing these packs are really missing is a toothbrush with all those sweets. Good thing dental is covered in the military!
As a NZer really proud to see this.. it's a great pack apart from the instant noodles.. would love to get this package and do a review myself...our soldiers are tough bastard's and desert great food...
I've watched several people review the NZ MRE and they all seem to really love the noodles.
I think the instant soup was for the instant noodles 😭
It's optional. The noodle packet already comes with the powder the soup. Boil the dried noodles and then put the powder in.

The interesting thing with different countries' MREs is that they always include local food the soldiers would've grown up with. I'm from NZ myself, and I recognise every food in this pack.

We always mix condensed milk with beverages such as tea,coffee and cocoa drinks to make them sweet in Malaysia.We mix with different flavoured syrups too.

Actually, condensed milk was supposed to be added into drinks like teas and coffee. It is better than regular milk as it gave the drink a much thicker texture and sweeter taste.
