one of my favorite plug ins! This one single-handedly will take your mix to another level
🥂
UAD always gonna be the Goat of plugin manufacturers in this industry for me !
Indeed... and I've always wanted to take a tour of the factory, to see the workers operating the machines that manufacture those plugins. I wonder how many of each they can crank out in a day.
awesome video, just learned about spark and starting become a really happy customer. thanks team. please continue making these plug ins more performant and spark eligible and ill stay uad committed and never look back.
Thanks, Ben. Seems the Galaxy Tape Echo has endless possibilities, especially when automating. Love your examples and these videos are so very helpful. Much appreciated!
You got it!!! Enjoy!!
Always worth watching this channel , thanks for the great content ..... keep your head nodding Ben 😎✌️💚☯️
🥂
Thank you for opening my eyes to the Tape Echo.
🥂
New Galaxy owner here, this video was super helpful!!
I love this plugin.
It's a gem!!
Excelent plugin... love it😊
OK Computer. I hear what you did there.
I literally belly laughed it caught me off guard
what a volume! I'm amazed)Thank's BenBro, Peace!✌ UA forEver!💪🌌
👍🏻
Thank you Ben.
You're welcome!! Glad you enjoyed.
This plug-in gets a ton of use for me.
👍🏻
For Vintage tone, I like using it panned left (wet signal) and the guitar panned right (dry signal).
Yeah, that's a great usage!
Somehow I had overlooked the Input Send control. Thanks for the tip!
👍🏻
How do we use this input send on Logic Pro?
Perfect
Is this plugin stereo? As in is the spring reverb stereo + any sort of ping pong? The one drawback with the original I have in my studio is that it's only mono so I'd love to know
I'm having trouble sizing the plug in windows of your plug ins. Any help? Thanks.
Wax on wax off.. very good 😊
UA could you one day model ( as only you can) DAC from Ensoniq Mirage Emu Sp1200 Akai MPC 60 Akai s950 and so on . Using unison technology ?
So we can track through 8 bit 12 bit 13 bit DAC’s
Maybe remake Linn9000 Emu Sp1200 drum machines with their swing and sequencer feel
Sorry fernando, we can't comment on any future developments or releases. We appreciate your interest though and encourage you to stay tuned.
How does this compare to vahalla vintage or room or echo boy?
Both good in Their own ways I like the spring reverb on this
I don't get why the Gui on UA plugins has yet to be resizable...
Shut up and take my money! ;-) I had a plugin similar to this, back in the 32bit days. Finally found a nutty gritty dirty dub machine worth buying. Dope!
🤘🏻
When Ben and the gang back with weekly broadcasts? I really miss them.
😍 not sure yet.
@@UniversalAudio Well I’ll be there.
😍
Do you bus it or put it directly on the vocal?
You can do either. It depends on the application and whether you want to "share" the effect.
@@UniversalAudio what did you do on this vocal specifically?
Inserted directly on it. Wet Solo is off.
@@UniversalAudio thank you for your quick response!
You got it!! We're here to help!
But there's no stereo width? No ping pong? On a modern digital time-effect? I really hope I am wrong.
Ok Computer! ;)
Old plug-in!
Soooo many updated reverbs and delays out there today that are way better and flexible
The Galaxy is a classic that never goes out of style. 🤘🏻
then why dont you name a few?
@@johanh9637 deelay
@@johanh9637 pro r 2 valahala supermassive ,etc but I do like the character of this sometimes
Who cares how old it is if it sounds good and inspires you to make good music?
Though I have to say that it’s not the best emulation of a Space Echo. It has a sound of its own, which I like. But I wish they would make an Mk2 of this.
I’ve never heard someone refer to the GUI as the “Gooey” 😂
ok computer.... heh
In software we don't have to make the same mistakes that they did when making the console ! So changes and flexibility can be achieved by light speed compared to old punch down block type of mix bay. Forget the plugging in and out. Plugin once and use switch tech ? Since Bluetooth is carrying 24 bit sound and wifi can hold more and fiber can hold ten time that ? Why are we so behind in tech ! Adat must be the worst use of fibre I have ever seen ! Fibre can hold 128 channels of 24 bit 192 all day long in the internet world ! Data is data ! So one fibre can hold a huge recording ! My friend splice fibre and I did internet work for the President's and taught it @ UC Santa Cruz in Silicon Valley. I helped UC Santa Cruz put up the wed servers !
