I am born Shia and never read or studied about our faith history. And due to this podcast I am learning and got good knowledge about the history of all Shia's sects and splits. I hope in future you will expose more about the Shia's faith and their different sects. Very good podcast.

Dai Hassan Bin Sabbah was follower of Imam Nizar عليه السلام and Imam Hadi afterwards Imam Nizar dai of Almut you put him in qarmatians which is different sect of Ismai'li Sh'iasm became after the split among the Mubārakiyyah came with the death of Muḥammad ibn Ismā‘īl (ca. 813 CE).
The majority Ismā‘īlī missionary movement settled in Salamiyah (now in Syria) and had great success in Khuzestan (southwestern Iran), where the Ismā‘īlī leader al-Husayn al-Ahwāzī converted the Kūfan man Ḥamdān in 874 CE, who took the name Qarmaṭ which is called qarmati movement which is not linked with DAI Hassan Bin Sabbah عليه السلام who is warrior of Islam Alhamdulillah you need more study about dawr of Ismai'li Sh'iasm.

You are having a very balanced analysis.I am an ismaili muslim and i want to answer one question which you asked at the end of the video at (1:27:30 second) both side have their own opinion but One thing is very common that Allah shows his truth by the lineage or progeny. The family of Imam Ismail AS continued without any break or pause. But yes they had same concealment period ahead also, but there were always people under the Imam known as Hujjats and Dais who were constantly in touch with Imam and the guidance was reaching to all the Ismailies living all around the word that time. So i would say that Allah ka wada is tarha poora huwa k imam ismail is aulad khatam Nahi huwi aj tak. Aur Insha’Allah will continue. God bless. Salam.
His lecture has lot of mistake read waji din from pir nasir kushrow, it seems you did not listen other scholars of Shia his book was strictly nasbiyat references which was wrong may imam bless and give you more knowledge

I know Nizam College of Hyderabad. It is a very prominent school. Dr Zahid Ali was from Ismaili Bohra community and he started as Prof of Arabic and retired as Vice Principal of Nizam College. A very distinguished and learned person and Nizam of Hyderabad respected people of knowledge and didn't discriminated based on religion only selected people on merit.

بے شک مشکل طریقے سے اسماعیلی تاریخ واضح کیا ہے مگر پھر بھی ریسرچ کی ضرورت ہے اس کے لئے فرہاد دفتری کی کتاب اسماعیلی تاریخ و عقائد پڑھیں تو کہ حسن بن صباح کے بارے میں واضح طور پر معلوم ہو
اسماعیلی اور شیعہ کیمونٹی کے مطابق امام نبی کے حقیقی وصی کو کہا جاتا ہے۔ اسلام کے دوسرے بڑے فرقے اہل تشیع کے دوسرے بڑے گروہ اسماعیلی میں ناطق، وصی اور امام کی اصطلاح نہایت اہم ہے۔ یہ ایک الہی عہدہ سمجھا جاتا ہے۔
اسماعیلیوں کے ہر امام کو اسماعیلی فرقے اہل بیت کی ایک فرد اور اللہ اور رسول اللہ محمدﷺ کے بعد صاحب امر سمجھتے ہوۓ ان کی اطاعت کرتے ہیں۔

اس طرح امام علی علیہ السلام سے لیکر امام جعفرصادق علیہ السلام تک اسماعیلیوں کے پانچ مستقر یعنی سلسلہ نسل بہ نسل جاری امامت پانچ ہیں۔اور عرضی امامت یعنی جو نور مستودع امام پیر حسن بن علی امام ہیں۔
یہاں سے اسماعیلی نظریات اہل تشیع اثناعشریہ سے الگ ہوکر اسماعیلی اماموں کا آغاز ہوتا ہے۔

محمدبن اسماعیل المکتوم
محمد بن اسماعیل کے بعد فلسفہ اسماعیلیہ میں دورستر کا آغاز ہوتاہے۔اور امامت مستور یعنی پوشیدہ ہوتا ہے۔ امامت سلامیہ نامی مصر کے شہر میں نامعلوم جگہ پر مقیم ہوتا ہیں۔یوں اسی زمانہ مستور کو یعنی امامت کی پوشیدہ ہوجانے کو عقیدہ اسماعیلیہ میں ۔دور ستر کا زمانہ کہلاتا ہے۔اس زمانے میں ایک گروہ ساتویں امامت پر رک گیا ۔جنہیں سبعیہ اسماعیلی کہلایا گیا۔ان کا عقیدہ تھا کہ امام بھی سات ہوتے ہیں اس سے زیادہ امام نہیں ہونگے۔
سبعیہ یا ہفت امامی اسماعیلی، اسماعیل بن جعفر الصادق کو آخری امام جانتے ہیں اور ان کی غیبت کے قائل ہیں۔ یہان ایک بات یہ بھی ہیں کہ عام طور اسماعیلیوں کو بھی سبعیہ یا ہفت اسماعیلی اس فلسفیانہ نظریہ امامت پر بھی کہلایا جاتا ہیں کہ اسماعیلی امامت میں ہر ساتواں امام کے بعد نیا دور شروع ہوجاتی ہے۔یعنی چھ چھوٹے دور کے اماموں کے بعد اخری ساتویں امام بڑے دور کا امام ہوتا ہے اس کے بعد پھر سے چھوٹے دور شروع ہوجاتی ہیں۔اس طرح یہ سلسلہ ہر سات دوروں کے بعد گھومتا ہیں جیساکہ ہفتہ کے دنوں کا سلسلہ ہیں۔اس لئے بھی سبعیہ یا ہفت امامی موجودہ نزاری اسماعیلیوں کےلئے بھی کہلایا جاتا ہے۔اور نظریہ باطنی میں یہ سلسلے کو دور کبیر اور ادوار کبریا کہلاتا ہے۔موجودہ نزاری اونچاسویں امام سات بڑے دوروں کے اخری امام ہیں ۔یعنی 7×7 =49 : اور دور نبوت کے زمانے میں صامت یعنی خاموش ائمہ کی تعداد بھی اونچاس ہی تھا۔جن کا آخری امام بھی مولا علی علیہ السلام ہی تھا۔جو امام مقیم ابی طالب علیہ السلام کا جانیشن اور مستقر امام تھا۔جبکہ دور امامت کے پہلا ظہور امامت کے دور کا امام بھی مولا علی علیہ السلام ہی تھا۔جو آخری نبی محمدﷺ کا جانیشین اور وصی تھا۔۔
اور مولانا مرتضی علی کی نسل سے ہمارے حاضر موجود امام شاہ کریم الحسینی اسماعیلی عقیدے کے مطابق 49 حاضر موجود امام ہیں ۔۔۔

He turned against Ahl e Bait and declared himself as Caliph. Imam Jafar Sadiq in his life time had nominated his eldest son Ismail as Imam and had taken Baiyat for Ismail from people of MEDINA. When Imam Jafar came to know that Abbasid spies are looking for Ismail to assassinate him he secretly sent Ismail to Syria. From there Imam Ismail and his son Muhammad Al Maktum moved to Faras and from there to Azarbhaijan.
