Hi!i know this is three months late, but some people flush the toliet with their feet since the handle is so dirty. In the process, some people lose their balance. So they implemented a foot flusher so people would stop falling down. Hope this helped!
I got it, but I guess I don’t understand exactly. Yes, it’s probably dirty, but if you wash your hands after you go...? I guess I’ve always been less concerned about touching the handle to flush (since I’m going to go wash my hands next) and more concerned about touching the door since I know that not everyone washes their hands after they go, but they have to touch the door somehow to leave the bathroom. I sometimes don’t throw away my paper towel and use that to push the door open instead of my hand.
