In this Duolingo English Test practice video, you can practice 20 difficult dictation questions. Typing out your answer will be great practice for you, so be sure to do that and let me know your final score in the comments 😃

The Duolingo English test is the newest English proficiency test available for English students to take in order to get an official English score. You usually need to take a test like the Duolingo English Test before you apply to a university or college in an English speaking country.
This new Duolingo English test is made specifically for those who need to get an official English score to study at a university or college. It’s similar to the IELTS and TOEFL; however, even though this test is quite new, it is accepted by a lot of universities around the world. You can go to their website to find out whether the university you want to attend to accepts the Duolingo English test or not.

I'm an English teacher. We always listen to some texts from our course books, but they sound like they are organized as students understand easily. This one is harder and better for language development. I am trying to be better at every skill of English. Thanks Luke

What was your score on the practice test?
@@ritvikmanocha I actually took it 4-5 times and the average was 125-150, so yeah, somewhere in between. So I think this test is reliable.

Yeah, I want more video like this. The Dictation Practic helps you in your cognitive processes to improve your Listening and Writing Skills.
Those are really good examples. I am studying to take the test a second time and I remember that the questions got hard really fast and the dictation was as hard as the ones here, because of its extension.
Some of them were easy, others difficult. Nevertheless, I think it was a great opportunity to practice.

Awesome, please make more videos on describing a picture in a sentence, and on other similar writing tasks. And please make videos on the tasks which you think are the most difficult in the test.
Thanks teacher Luke, At initially i could not able to complete a single sentence. Than i realized that i immediately start writing with speaking which clashes and diverts my mind. Than i start to lesson the whole sentence first and try to write as much as possible even if some words were missing. The 2nd turn i was try to fill the missing words and last turn i make sure the sentence is complete.
This way i correct the Test 17 18 and 19 only ,
