For whatever reason the Katana 50 sounds outstanding with EVH pickups? I have the Kat 50 and out of my 8 guitars the ones loaded with the EVH pickups sounds best? The EBMM EVH/AXIS and EVH the WOLFGANG both have Van halen pickups and they sound incredible with the amp.
This was crunch channel on the katana with some reverb and delay recorded directly into Audacity. The Katana can be tricky since the actual sound from the amp may not be as good as the direct recording. just trial and error
