    need brake light and turn signal connection though ...maybe i can just make the trailer low enough so the car's lights can still be seen

    I click the link in the description, and it says it's not confirmed to fit my 2017 GTI, but they're installing it on a 2017 GTI in the video... wth?

    Great Video! Do you happen to have the towing capacity spec for a 2017 Golf 1.8L TSI with the 5-speed manual? I can't find this spec anywhere!

      Yes, the foam bar is discarded.

    This seems like surgery. It is nicely hidden, though.

      It will take a bit longer to install because the rear fascia will have to be removed but it will have a very clean look when its installed.
