What a superb review . Congratulations on the best review I have seen on this model. I am thinking of purchasing this exact watch in the olive green but concerned a little about value retention in the secondary market . I do t really have the intention of ever selling but because I have other GS , I guess I am a bit concerned with losing too much value. Your thoughts on this and what it might look like in secondary market ?
I was gonna say it just looks like a a boring explorer 2 rip off, then I saw the shots when you have it in hands! Looks beautiful but I'm still not a fan of the bezel.
It’s definitely got that vibe to it, but in my opinion, a much more interesting color way. It’s also way more affordable and accessible without sacrificing anything in terms of quality!
@@righttimewatches I really like this watch (and I like the Explorer 2 as well). I was also thinking it was an Explorer 2 rip off. Then I discovered the Seiko Navigator GMT (which had a similar steel bezel). That Seiko came out in the 1960's before the Explorer 2 which was released in the 1970's........well at least that is the story I will tell people if I buy this Grand Seiko!! I also think that apart from the steel bezel there are lots of difference between the GS and Rolex.

with most non-limited GSes you should be looking at around a 20% haircut
