Brilliant idea from discarded boards!
I welcome everyone to my channel! My name is Dima - I'm the author of the Men's Craft channel.

How do you like this idea? Put like it if you like it
Love your work, it looks really good. However i would make just a tiny change. Since it's a vice where you would often change the span of jaws, you could try making a "quick release" on this one. "Pask Makes" channel is using those in some of his woodworking vices and made a few good clips on how to create them. Just put in your youtube search "pask makes quick release" and you will find those clips.
Wonderful work man! :)
Here's a better idea - give your video a title that tells you what you're about to watch.
Thanks for the advice, it's a genius I have already found the application of this idea in my new project. Thanks you
@@spblackey not a better idea, just an idea that you have.
Excellent project and one that I could find useful. Well done and thanks for the lesson . 👍
I like that a lot! wrestlin with my bench-top drill is a thing of the past. Thanks man!
Beauty and function! 🤓
Couldn't be any better.
Outstanding and beautiful vise, thank you for sharing your talent. 👍👍👍👍👍
Super, das ist Handwerk !!!
That drilling through the wood perfectly through the hex was pretty impressive.
A thing of beauty, more art than tool, bravo.
Great idea!
Excellent, es wird gemacht !
I especially like the drill attachment for fast moving the clamp. Well done

Sehr schön und das aus Resten. Danke
That was nicely done!
How Kool was it that the drill press was spinning just shy of the frame rate. That looked awesome haha.
Very nice Job. Prima Idee
Awesome. All the noise cracked me up!
Awesome woodwork
Super !
Having used big heavy million vises for years, this thing is great - and looks good to boot
Milling (I hate autocorrect)
Thanks buddy. I am glad that you highly appreciated my work!
I had no idea what he was making 99% of the video but I still watched the whole thing 😂
Sorry, but I can't get over the fact that this vice is a work of art.
Why the hate though? Maybe it's a work of art to him. Can you post some of the works of art you've created? Honestly speaking, if you have something put it up. Less hate, more positivity.
@@brucewahlthesecond Less click bait, more honest titles.
Beautiful and brilliant
very nice vise.
That’s a beautiful tool!
Great video and also bought some of those gloves - protection and dexterity! thanks for both tips.
Very cool!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Such a beautiful wooden vise Dima! Ingenious idea to make it so it can be power drilled (adjusted) opened and closed. I just subscribed because you have great ideas and craftsmanship.
Thanks! I am very glad that you highly appreciated my work
Beautiful piece of furniture...
Nice job!
...and your discarded board pile is much nice than mine.
muy buen trabajo felicitaciones
This man's glue game is on point!
Beautiful
Excellent wood work skills 👌 👏
Aww yes, more great ideas for all of those people out there with a complete carpenters shop set up in their basement, garage, whatever. Super!
Well done 🇰🇼
Love it
This is brilliant. Will have a go at making one. Where did you get your marker pen from????
that sure is a good scrap pile, I could make stools and all manner of things from a good pile like that. I even make small items like dowels, key ring fobs, ear rings etc etc. from tiny bits
Great your work always good
Thank you friend!
Looks very nice!
I am impressed.
Bravo to the worlds males in action.
It was fun to try to figure out what he was making. Right near the end it became evident that it was a tool, and not until he actually used did I understand what it was. Nice.
Good Work! Very useful!
Very nice work! And you have a much better scrap pile than I do also! :)
Like it 👍
Pretty slick.
Brilliant skills
Guess the split washer was necessary. Hes a one stop shop. Does it all.
I could use one of these. I need to find a place in my schedule to build it though.
Super robota, imadełko jak ze złota...
You work so fast. I don't think I could ever become even half as fast as you are in your videos.
There's a lot of truth to that!
A nice project, but that split washer isn't going to hold up well, and is going to limit clamping force, best to replace it with a ball bearing. Just capture it on either side with a pair of nuts and loctite or glue. Jam nuts would be ideal, but there may be enough wood thickness to accommodate standard nuts, or you could split one nut with the grinder. anchor to the wood with a thin wood or steel cover plate.
Good video, thanks Dima.
Super! :-)
I like your "jack hammer chisel" at 2:40 !
