    Another great one! I personally enjoy the honest reviews and "knit-picks". As someone who has one on order, I want to know what I'm getting into! If there are little defects or annoyances - I want to know! I already know its a sweet truck, and everyone else is doing performance and function content. You're the only person who I've seen has started poking and prodding at this thing in a way that I think is helpful to the average consumer. Keep up the great work!

    Thanks for the review. With sound, it will never translate playing it. Its going through your microphone and into whatever sound system the listener has. IMHO: just give your opinion compared to other vehicles. I can say my son in law's 2018 Mustang GT premium is spectacular. The bass is huge, the overall spectrum amazing, and people keep going out and sitting in it for hours just to listen to it. So, like that, just say what you think.
    Enjoying your posts. Love seeing go thru your journey. All honest. I want one. :)

      i am totally with you on that... no way to judge the sound of someone elses stereo over the internet especially when it was recorded on my rayban meta microphones. I am happy with the stereo but it could use a little more bass. Once JL Audio comes out with a stealth box option i will probably get that and possibly upgrade the speakers in the doors after a year or two but they are pretty darn good as it is

    hey man, thanks for uploading the vids. keep all the nitpicky stuff coming to. we need that sid eof things too. we all know raptor ranger is a great capable truck, but you are one of the few willing to nitpick. I appreciate that. many of us appreciate that.
    btw, I'm from Georgia (Caucasus, not US State) and my father got one. we had to pay USD 79600 for it and it does not have the sliding rear window, now towbar and No heating in the seats and steering wheel (I think it was originally intended for some african/arab country). on the other hand, all the driveline parts are painted and we have vents for the rear passengers. no heating in the seats suck to be honest, but oh wel...

    it would be nice to get some the features that the Aussie trucks has on ours that Ford dropped in NA. Would love to have the grab handles at all the door opens like the Aussie Rangers have it would help in getting in to the truck. Enjoy all the content and I agree with you on the Door panels with no rattles I would leave them alone too. If you ever take the Door panels off I would get all new clips that way the panel will be tight like it came from the Factory.

    • @flaberdoopin
      @flaberdoopin  3 месяца назад

      good call about the new clips for door panels if removed. i have never replaced them, i just make due with what didn't break in my older cars but i will be doing that in this truck if i do get into the doors... it's a cheap price to pay to make sure it stays nice and tight. And i agree, handles by all the doors would be great, i grab the steering wheel when i am climbing in every time but a handle would be great... i like the handles on the broncos up attached to the dash on the sides... looks good and is at a good height. maybe that is standard for rock crawler type cars more than the baja oriented vehicles? but like you said, they have them in Aus so guess that theory is out the window. Cheers

      The sliding chase bars are awesome in the Aussie trucks. That would be a cool project video for your Raptor to make it work. They couldn't bring it here because of the CHMSL requirement but you could just run the wiring and mount the light at the end of the FRS.

    You can sound deaden all four doors in less than 2 hours. The door panels are easy to take off. As long as you have trim tools. Unclipped silver looking trim piece where door handle is. 2 hex screw in there. 2 hex screws at bottom of door panel and then pull off door panel. It is in there pretty good though.

    • @flaberdoopin
      @flaberdoopin  3 дня назад +1

      I ended up doing sound deadener in the roof (removed headliner) and all 4 doors. made a HUGE difference... then i replaced the stock sub, all the door speakers and and upgraded little amplifier with DSP.
