Those stripes are not the newest ones. Is there any reason for this? The reason for my enquiry about this is because, I am due to pick up this very car next Friday. I am really excited, but I want the ones that fade out, i.e. the newest style. Are some being sent like this? Great review though. 😁🙌
Hello! I would love these stripes on my Mini Cooper C Exclusive (Sept 2024). There was a recent autoshow where these exact stripes were featured on a specially modified Cooper SE Exclusive in BR Green. Looked sick. I think they are new as the bonnet stripes don’t go all the way to the grille so the stripes have smaller extensions from the bonnet to the grille. Have fun with your new car! Very exciting!
Don’t worry If it says Sports Stripes Red on the order then your car will have the red fading stripes. Mine does! Picked it up on Tuesday after a near 9 month wait. Great to drive It jumps away from rest A feel that my previous electric Mini didn’t have.
I must admit that I don't like the aesthetics of the new car. I can forgive the inside - it looks more modern, and retro at the same time. I can't foegive the front bonnet, and rear of the car though. Very unMINI. That is just my opinion though :) I am an owner of the previous SE, so I may be biased. This new one is a bit if a porker at 1605kg *without* the driver. The clever electronics hide this up until physics takes over. Another quick thing - the only people who suffer range anxiety are those withour EVs. The media has done a good job there :(. My SE gets 250km tops, and more likely 200 before you would want to charge. Have I ever wanted more range (in almost 4 years of ownership)? Not once. I would actually consider removing some battery to lighten the car. I put on track tyres which decreases the range as well. No anxiety :) Nice review - more please.
I grew up in the real mini era, to see a Cooper those day's was something special. Then came bmw and start building MINI's. It's not a mini. I think they must drop the MINI name and just call it a cooper.
Mimi... Welcome! Fantastic video and review of what can only be described as one of the best cars available in any class and size. And " boy" have Mini done a fantastic job with the new Mini! Minimalist design, superb quality and features. And yes, that unique and unequalled driving experience. Brilliant! Now ( perhaps) the best small, sporty EV available? Think so! Brilliant! 👌. Ah? I don’t mind the interior or the rear lights and we have two factory ordered MINI’s on the drive just now hand had five. But SE sport your driving is £43k for a glorified electric S. This needed to be more like £27k If you ask me. Anyone who pays £43k for that Id not admire I’d pity them. By all reviews it drives fantastic but seriously too dear for what it is. Maybe the next gen that will do 300 miles plus me hopefully cheaper.

Heating/cooling system buried in the screen is not a good thing. Much rather have buttons, dials and knobs.
What is the color of the car in the video? Black or grey ?
