A few details. Jerry's Artarama is the only company that has this paper because it's proprietary. Unless you get it from a third party seller. I love the hot pressed and have been using it for years. You get beautiful grandulation on HP unlike my experience with Arches. Jerry's run sales all week but the biggest sale starts on Friday and runs through Sunday(the same things are on sale all week). So, if they have something on sale you want. Wait to purchase until Friday. The price may go lower. ❤
Drawback - Only one side has the best texture however, I use the opposite side for ink drawing, sketching, gouache ECT... Because it is super smooth. Hope this helps. ❤

That is so cool that their HP shows off granulation! This was super helpful, thank you!

Just ordered a pack from Amazon! I tend to like a smoother cold press, so I’m looking forward to trying it! Always so helpful, thanks Jess!! ❤

This paper is way too expensive on Amazon-much better priced in Jerry's!!!! 10 sheets of 22"x30" is about $55usd on Amazon, but only about $40usd on Jerry's right now!!! I have had my eye on this paper for about a year now, thinking about ordering the 10 imperial sheets from Jerry's to try out. Thanks for sharing!
Edit: Had to fix prices, was comparing 300 lb to 140 lb prices at first. Either way, Amazon is still overpriced!

Your work is lovely! BTW, you can paint on the other side, too; so don't toss a "bad" painting.

I’ve tried to download your art supply list a couple of times but never received the email. It’s better for you international customers to list products available on Amazon. I can’t access Jerry’s.

I'm so sorry Robyn! I can't seem to figure out why some folks aren't receiving the supply list email. I just emailed you personally and attached the list. I believe you can get this paper on Amazon, along with a lot of the other supplies in the list. Happy painting!

Not rude at all! But no, this wasn't paid or sponsored. If I ever do a sponsored review, I will make sure to disclose that in the video.

Um for the prices on amazon i can buy arches or heritage 140 pd paper for 12 sheets for a few more dollars. About 20 dollars right now on sale. Not 300 pd but still at least i know arches will hold up to scrubbing, wet in wet, masking fluid and whatever else i throw at it! You only get 5 sheets of the paper you are reccomending. 300 pds or no 300 pds idc im going with arches. 😮

Sounds like a great plan for you, Arches is awesome! I have heard the NY paper is cheaper on Jerry's Artarama though if you ever want to try it!

Feel free to elaborate Michele! It performed really well so perhaps it's not such a bad thing!

@@aquilawatercolor Nothing to elaborate, I simply choose not to use gelatin sized paper. Performance is less of a concern for me if it means no animals are used to make it.
