Ya Allah bless my sisters in Islam with healthy pregnancies. Do not test my sisters with infertility. Grant them pious, beautiful, and healthy children. Give all my sisters patience .Amen 🤲🏾
Been watching this series for years and tonight I cried for the first time when sister Suzy was talking about the Quran. Machallah .. may allah bless us all 🙏🏾 Amine
Dr. Omar's question was "Who was the prophet at the centre of the story of Al-Ahqaf?" A. Lut (as) B. Shuaib (as) C. Hud (as) The answer is C. Prophet Hud (as).
Oh my God - the story of Jo Jo just got to me 😢 May Allah bless you Dr. Suzy Ismail Can’t thank Yaqeen enough for introducing us to such inspiring personalities- Alhamdolillah May Allah preserve you all - Aameen ❤
Assalamualaikum from Florida.. Keeping our brothers and sisters suffering with poverty and oppression in our duas. Thank you Yaqeen for all you provide to strengthen the Ummah. 🤲🕊️❤
JazakAllah sister for mentioning that the tests Allah puts us through are to make us the best version of ourselves. I lost my father almost 3 months ago, and as heart-wrenchingly painful as that was, it has inspired me towards humility, a keen focus on the Afterlife, a much deeper understanding of Life and Death, of the doors of Repentance always being open, of the rights of parents which I can even fulfill after his passing, inshaAllah. And while I was no stranger to grief, the bereavement of my father was perhaps the single best thing that ever happened to me. Nothing has ever inspired me to be a better Muslim than to be a Sadqa-e-Jaria for my dear, dear Papa. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdous and may I re-uinte with him inshaAllah, in the happiest of circumstances.
Alhamdulillah for guiding me to Islam 🥹 it has been the biggest gift in my life, ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah w ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasool-Allah 🤲🏽
Oh Allah! Save us from the Fitnah of Dajjal. And please save us from becoming a fitna for others. Save mus from being the source of trail for others. Amen 🤲🏾
Dr. Suzy: jazakillah khayr. You changed my entire perspective about burying two sons. May Allah bless you and compensate your losses with something better. I loved this episode.

May Allah bless dr. Suzy for this reflection! I was invested in listening to her project of finding the ayah to talk about and how so many spoke to her. Also the story of the orphan girl really moved me ❤❤ Allahumma baarik. All-in-all I needed this episode and the reminders

Jazakallah khair to Yaqeen institute, to all the sheikhs and brothers and sisters who bring us these inspiring and helpful podcasts, thoroughly enjoyed the Ramadan series 30 for 30. I can relate to so much said in todays podcast, we all have our individual tests, some tried with poverty, with ill health, with loss of loved ones, with difficulty dealing with people, with all kinds of tests and tribulations, we have to learn the skill of dealing with such tests exercising patience at times. Allah swt gives us the ability to cope. The quran teaches us how to deal with different tests put on the prophets. They were examples of 'patience'. If it wasn't for the guidance in the quran we wouldn't have a clue how to deal with such tests and life issues. Alhamdulilah for being guided with the guidance in the quran. I was once so troubled, when i opened the quran the opening verse began ....oh you whose heart is full of worries... i cried and cried, it was such a release to know Allah sees, Allah hears, Allah fixes it up. Quran is a true source of healing when read with its meaning.
Hi! I know this is kind of a weird comment but my parents always comment about you wearing shoes or not and if you wear socks or not😂😂 keep it up please I would like to see their reactions😂❤
Very interesting and coincidental. I asked myself the same question this morning Sheikh Omar just asked 'what will my life be without the Quran? '. I thought about so many issues I would have faced without guidance. Would I have avoided addictions, dealing with anger, forgive those that transgressed, mindful of my words?. It helps with reflections on Allah's gifts.
The prophet at the centre of the story of Al-Ahqaf is C- Hud (AS). Verse 21 Allah SWT mentions him as the brother of the people of 'Aad. Verses 22, 23, 24 talk about the conversations between Hud (AS) and the people he was sent to. Verse 25 talks about how Allah (SWT) destroyed them and the reward of such for the wicked. Verse 26 talks about some of the blessings Allah (SWT) has bestowed upon them and even with such, denied the signs of their Lord. May Allah (SWT) forgive me for any slight mistake I've made. And may He (SWT) allow us to learn from the lessons of the people of the past, and not make us as a lesson for the people to come to learn from. Allahumma Ameen.
