wow kudos to Tarmak team for bringing the brains behind Tejas , normally we common folks dont get to see / hear these brilliant brains , the interaction of these scientists along with Dr Kota Ji is simply marvellous
For electrical engineering and software students wanting to work on defense projects, I recommend learning about the following areas: analog and digital circuit design, FPGAs, operating systems, RF communications, antenna design, analog and digital communication systems, digital signal processing principles, electric machines, control systems, design and test methodologies, Matlab, etc. Internet is full of resources for self education. Work hard. Study hard. Your future and nation's future is bright.
Thanks to excellent work Tarmak!, I have become monthly member of your channel. These kind of content should be encouraged in youtube rather than Bollywood Masala channels. My request is to create content on IAC1 program and India's Nuclear Submarine program.
Celebrating the unsung heroes behind the curtains is probably the best thing done in the series. These people have dedicated their lives to the program and to the nation.Countless numbers of hours and sweat they have given to the nation.A big salute to all of these heroes behind the curtains.
Very nice work done sir, keep inspiring us. I am a software developer myself, it is really good to see our defense organizations are moving ahead and adopting new technologies. It always give me satisfaction after watching hamara Tejas that our country is in safe hands with bright, talented engineers and scientists. And not to forget the leaders like Dr kota and many others🙏🙏 Hope we bring the next generation fighter soon. Let me also know if I can contribute in any way✌ A strong India is happy and prosperous India 🇮🇳 ❤
Ananth Sir Saluting your tireless efforts again and again. Actually we are lucky to coexist with great people like Dr. Kalam and Dr. Kota and for that I will definitely thank the omnipotent. May the dreams of Dr. Kalam and Dr. Kota come true and may there be hundreds and thousands of Kalams and Kotas come forward and make our nation the real Vishwa-guru. तेजस् और् तेजोमय हो।
Sir, just wanted to know something... ada is an OOP Language whereas C is not... so are translating the old codes on ada to C or to C++. Thanks in advance... and huge respect to all the engineers at ADA and HAL making our dream of aatmanirbhar bharat a possibility... hope to join you all some day
Thanks for doing some technical talks Sir. A few questions 1. Why do you say Tejas is a world class aircraft when Tejas has lower specifications (lower AoA, thrust to weight ratio, lesser sensors, no guns, etc) compared to some older aircrafts (F16, rafale, F 15, Mig 29). 2. Why did you call Tejas the most sort after aircraft when we have not been able to sell any yet? 3. Also, can you please talk about indigenous engine status? Thanks for making Tejas, it is a huge step towards building indigenous tech. Its FCS and carbon composites are very modern. I commend you and your entire team for this feat.
Who said u Teja’s don’t have gun n ur comparing it with F16 people like u who don’t have any basic understanding of science but very good in just give opinion
1.) Thats why we are doing Mk1A stopgap and Mk2 (the OG) 2.) Definitely most sort off, but can't be exported as the costliest systems - HMD, Engine, radar, MFDs, IFR probe, quartz radome are all imported (from different countries). Even actuators are US made bcz no one here can make the precision and robyst engineering of aerospace grade and even if does, who is gonna' validate and certify ? 3.) SCB requires 2-3 bn US$ while tge complete expense on Tejas since the start is 1.5 bn US$. We can't just do it without R&D budget increased at least 3 times.
Well , it does have guns , they just not certified for use. It's capable of using various weapons , and has an AESA radar. A huge amount of sensors are overkill for such a small jet. F 16 isn't a "light" fighter , it's a gold standard in single engined medium fighter
A wonderful series by Tarmak for insights to Atmanirbhar Bharat through # Hamara Tejas. Congrats # Tarmak. Also cover the efforts by Quality & clearing Agencies involved in Tejas.
Fantastic episode. It was great to listen to two of the ADA scientists. I felt proud of the progress that we have made so far. I am cautiously optimistic that bulk of our fighter planes will be indigenous two decades from now.
This is my working (Avionics Integration Rig) area form Apr '98 to..Jan 2008 (on contact) after retirement from HAL. Proudly I can say: Participated in fabrication, modification and maintenance of this integration Rig
ALL THE BEST SIR BEST OF LUCK FOR FUTURE GREAT IDEA FOR NEW GENERATION STUDENTS THAT'S WANTS TO ACHIEVE SOME THING IN THERE LIFE WITH ADA HAL TEAM TEJAS AND MANY MORE THANKS ALL MENAS ALL HUNG SUNG HEROS FOR TEJAS & ALL MADE INDIA PRODUCTS GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS INNOVATION & ALSO INVENTION BEST OF LUCK TO ALL FOR MAKE INDIA PROUD THANKS TO TARMAK ALL TEAM ANANTA SIR KOTA SIR JI GOD BLESS YOU
Sir , i have been really into defence and military content for a long time now !! I am really glad that ur Hamara Tejas series has given the public really good insight into the minds and organisation of the makers of Tejas. Wud really love to see some first hand content from the pilots of the flying daggers squadron !!
After listening All episode and understanding more about Hamara Tejas we feel proud. Just as the engines give energy to fly the aircraft, similarly if an engine can generate destructive energy and that energy can be used as a weapon, then our Tejas will be unbeatable.
Kudos to the entire Team Tarmak for bringing in the series Hamara Tejas... You have been an inspired & authenticated source of information warehouse in this world of fake and sponsored narratives
Kota Sir's happiness after seeing his team's success in the LCA project is like the Parents Joy of their children being successful in life ❤️ Such a wonderful 'Young Gentleman' ❤️ A truly inspiring human being ❤️ Waiting for more Hamara Tejas stories ❤️
Thank you Ananta Sir 🙏 and All of Hamara Tejas Team 🇮🇳 for choosing my words in last episode. I couldn't believe my eyes 😊🙏. Every episode is now creating confidence into more confidence when hear words of the Team Tejas 🇮🇳. So proud so proud 💖🇮🇳. Jai Hind 🇮🇳Vande Matram💖
Sir everything is fine but I'm worried about our jet engine program we are lagging behind we can't depend on others please bring updates on this by the way amazing conversation 😀😀
It's heartening to know the planning, effort, team work, co-ordination, mastering new technologies etc. Congratulations to the entire team involved in the project. There is only one way that I can see...build on the knowledge and the platform. However, I'm not very impressed by the output...i.e the manufacturing process. Manufacturing must keep pace to bring the cost down. Efficiency, labour hours per unit etc. must come down. In short, volume of production must increase to keep up with the demand. I'm sorry to say, that's not the case
I hate to bring China into this, but I think what separated the Chinese in context of defense manufacturing is the CCP was fully committed on their defense industry since the very beginning, no matter how shitty chinese clones and weapons were, their services will absorb and field those. They didn't just rely to Russia. In India there's always a lot of second guessing between the Indian Armed Forces and Defense Industry, for the former, their commitment on procuring local defense technologies and obvious bias with foreign weapons, for the latter, their capability to develop technologies on time and in good enough quality.
@@sidewinder3422 Good point….I want to add one more thing. No matter how perfect the design is made, when it goes in service with different people using the product, in this case fighter pilots, unforeseen issues would come to light..which in turn would be addressed and design fine tuned. Knowledge thus gained would be incorporated in any new upcoming design…and cycle goes on. Expertise is gained, designs will evolve and instead of one platform, several will come to life. Instead of being a follower, country becomes the leader in the field.
I hear that communication system, avoiding enemy jammers and networking with other aircrafts/ground support is critical for a integrated airborne mission. How good is Tejas on this aspect?
Tejas don't have any internal self protection jamming suit but it uses an external israeli elta 822 pod which is very good. And we are working on our pod also.
Indian Mayavi EW suite has been developed by DARE & DLRL. Only Tarang2, Radar Warning Receiver is deployed in SU30MKI. MAWR, LWR, IR&UV missile warning, self protection Jammers, Elect counter measure, decoy and all flight tested in prototype vehicle in 2018. Not sure whether it has been approved for LSP or will come in FOC variant.
sir we heard that the hardware (processing computer mother board) was too too too old and was hangging...and now airforce has asked to upgrade it....whats the status ?
So sir will you make a documentary of Tejas Fram scratch to a fighter jet by recreating it we would sent a message to a world and also the marketing of Tejas get a boost and also our Indian people get to know how india is on world stage to make world class fighter jet
Perhaps they should also include a AI module to automate flight and leave the pilots to focus on targeting the enemy. The entire software part can be outsourced to Indian companies.
wow kudos to Tarmak team for bringing the brains behind Tejas , normally we common folks dont get to see / hear these brilliant brains , the interaction of these scientists along with Dr Kota Ji is simply marvellous
For viewers and students: Do-178 B is the Safety Standard in use, Ada and C language is used for S/W development at ADA.
The exact moment and thing I came to comments :)
We should start using Rust which is memory safe systems language in place of C. We should be pioneer instead of following up.

This series is a celebration of Indian efforts and a great effort for TEJAS geeks like me. Many congratulations and thanks 🎉🎉

Fun part. Dr. Kota asks questions and answers 60 % of the question himself. His POV enthusiasm is very young.
I am following Tejas since my first year of graduation 2002....Thank you TarMak for bringing this insightful series on #Humara_Apna_Tejas 🙏🙏🙏

Dr. Kota's interaction with ADA team was laden with details for aero industry enthusiasts.
Leaders like Dr.Kota & his team who sacrificed their lifesm LCA are instrumental to realise 4+ gen Tejas today
A deed for the nation and for all people…is a deed which is priceless
Aa a engineer, i feel privilege to see the brain behind our beloved tejas!!!!
Such simple and humble people have made us proud with their work on Tejas.
Dr Ananth, I have a question. In case we have some kind of sanctions from US, can the LCA be fitted with a European engine.
Very good series. Keep up the good work and keep inspiring the nation.

sir please also include some insights into interest level in LCA from foreign probable customers
malaysia is a potent customer.
I love tejas
So difficult bto buil proud of team'
Awesome sir
When can we expect Kaveri engine in Tejas?
@SBI thanks for sponsoring this
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great episode sir but please increase the content of #tejasupdates section
Now the real stumbling block for Atmanirbhar Bharat is the jet engine the real heart of an aircraft
No Words... ❤️
Why are not working on drones like predator, wingloong, baryktar etc inhouse
India is making so many drones. Please google
Dr. Kota is likely to be next Dr . Kalam..
❣️🇮🇳
Some update about kaveri engine please..
😍🔥
We have developed an excellent core specialists.
Fun fact : the first fly-by-wire system in aviation used the Apollo guidance computer installed on an F8 crusader
Question why is Su 30 MKI the test bed for every weapon why not Tejas or any other platforms
Matured platform operated by IAF for nearly 2 decades. TEJAS is still in early induction phase.
Su30 Mki can carry more, we have them in decent amount 260+, we have authority and source code to do any upgrade.
Surplus electrical power.
Larger payload capacity.
2 seater.
High endurance
sir we heard that the hardware (processing computer mother board) was too too too old and was hangging...and now airforce has asked to upgrade it....whats the status ?

I am watching this video with my mechanical physics book😁😁😁
❤️❤️❤️👏👏🙏🙏👏🙏🙏👏
When can we see a Tejas fighter jet which can go above mach 2??
May Not be in a level flight , May be on a dive
Perhaps they should also include a AI module to automate flight and leave the pilots to focus on targeting the enemy. The entire software part can be outsourced to Indian companies.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😅❤️
