I am new here and looking back through your videos, 2 things, I have wanted to live in a van for sometime now,,however my husband not on board so that not happening so I watch others..but your food life style is very very inspirational for me and am now going to use you as an inspiration for me, I too am from Massachusetts and have a sister in Florida we drove down a couple years ago for the first time, I like the way you are approaching the drive..keep up the good work..I need to lose 60 pounds at least and counting on your inspiration..thank you.
Love beets! Also frozen fruits are helpful this time of year. I get mango to add to oatmeal and since it is frozen it keeps so I don’t have to eat it in a short period of time.
I’m with LuLu. But this does get me thinking about pesticides, so thank you for the wake-up call. I saw on you tube that people actually use their dishwasher to steam clean their veggies!! 🥕
Thank you for the video, I was not able to join the zoom this week and really missed it. I am traveling and staying close to plan as possible while eating out. Holidays are fun and even more fun is feeling like I am eating what is so good for me And being able to move my body with less inflammation. Happy holidays everyone 🎄
Hi Lulu, Thank you for this entertaining video. I had to laugh out loud 😂 The Lady Linda who sanitizers the trolley bar, and wash fruit and veges with that cloth, reminds me of myself. I do that too. It grosses me out touching the supermarket trolley bars. I always get produce from the back. Wash them with either baking soda and warm water then rinse and dry, or put a splash of white vinegar in the water then rinse and dry. I wipe them with a clean microfiber cloth. I have OCD and sometimes it does your head in 😅. You are not alone Linda!
I’m mainly just feeding me and even that takes a load of preplanning. Obtaining food here is never easy, there isn’t parking anywhere, and it’s an ordeal, most is ordered and delivered. I count out my vegs and try to keep the order to 10 days because there are about $10 fees on each delivery.
This is off the subject. I see how you enjoy your dandy tea so I went on Amazon and purchased some. I was leery about the taste but to my pleasant surprise I love it. Thank you. Do you know off hand what the benefits of dandy tea has for the body?
a quick google search showed me this: Dandy Blend is a caffeine-free, malty powder that some say has a number of health benefits, including: Digestion Dandelion root contains prebiotic fibers that feed healthy gut bacteria. A healthy gut microbiome can improve mood and the immune system. Blood sugar Dandelion and chicory roots contain compounds that may help lower blood sugar levels. This can be beneficial for people with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes. Detoxification Dandelion root has been used to support liver function and detoxification. Antioxidants The combination of dandelion root and chicory is rich in antioxidants, which can help fight free radicals and reduce oxidative stress. Energy Dandy Blend provides a steady, calm energy without the spike-and-crash cycle of coffee. Potassium Dandelion tea contains potassium, which helps the kidneys remove excess sodium from the body. Skin Dandelion has been used as an herbal medicine for centuries and may help improve skin. Dandy Blend is made from dandelion root, chicory root, sugar beetroot, barley, and rye. It can be consumed hot or cold, or used for baking.
What do you think about Whole Foods salad bar? When I’m on the road, I like to load up on a big ass salad from Whole Foods. Lasts for a couple of meals. I’m just not sure how they cook their veggies.
if anything on those salad bars is not plain and is a mixture of anything, it's usually written on a card nearby. or you could ask someone. if any of the veggies look shiny, they are probably in oil.

Why does she not want to prepare her husband's stuff. Separate portions in glass containers ahead of time. Yes, this is mine, this is yours has to happen.
I don't think it's that they don't want to prepare their husband's stuff, I think they were just referring to the volume of veggies consumed by two and all the work involved. these are women that work full time and are thin on time but making it work anyway!
Lulu you’re an angel sent straight from heaven. ❤❤
Congratulations to Rona who got off BP meds, mine were increased. I guess too much stress and chronic pain. Still hoping though.
🙏

They are a starchy root vegetable - water chestnut
Frozen vegetables, I weigh them, put in microwave with 2 tablespoons of water and microwave for five minutes, not soggy for me

I'm trying to join the Facebook group. I've requested a few times. Is there any reason that I can't?

Me too but maybe May is more realistic for me, my last 20.
Read 1st Timothy 4: 1-5 in a KJV Bible . That is Gods opinion on it. I Trust In His Word Totally, No Worries, Guess I’mWith Lulu. 🤗🙏🏼
