I was not expecting a boss fight, idk why I wasn’t and should have rested up but I didn’t. Fortunately I won due to having some scrolls of invulnerability
Appropriate for a lvl 17 encounter in a game that caps you to lvl 12 with an occasional attack that one-hit kills your entire team if you don't manage to leave the area in one turn, and with bugged hitboxes where I sometimes can't even target the dragon with Karlach. It even took me a minute to start the fight because 99% of the dragon can't be clicked for any interaction.

there is no reason to die if you kill the dragon before it flies up. just use several multiattacks and done.
Great strategy! plus, Gnomes have spare rune barrels in their hideout so go steal some and also don’t forget to bring invulnerability dome scroll!

For me it didnt work that way. I had to drop all the bombs before activating the fight and detonate that way
