The Casper Dream Max is a 13.5″ hybrid mattress made of three types of poly foam, pocketed coils, and a support foam base. It uses zoned layers to create a dynamic experience at the head, middle, and foot of the mattress.
This mattress comes in a single firmness, 4.5 out of 10, giving the mattress a soft feel. It is just a touch softer than a medium mattress and provides a supportive yet soft feel.
The Dream Max has an overall score of 9.51, which is just slightly above the overall average score comparing over 200+ mattresses to date.
The biggest disadvantage of the Casper Dream Max is the high price tag. Compared to all hybrids we’ve tested, the Dream Max costs 81% more than average.
If you’re specifically looking for a Casper mattress, this mattress offers the highest performance from Casper of any of their current models. That said, it is ranked #41 among 78 hybrids tested to date. There are many other higher-quality hybrid options offered at a lower price you may want to consider.

Would love to see categories on material toxicity/safety and things like PFAS/microplastics etc..

@@blee3ee That is an interesting notion. I'll have to do some research about how to go about this type of testing.

Does the Dream Max have any fiberglass in the fire-sock for the mattress? I can't find any solid confirmation that this mattress is fiberglass free.

@@Kalkin55 Unfortunately, we haven't been able to determine if it does or doesn't have fiberglass.
On March 1, 2024, Casper discontinued their entire previous mattress line and launched the Casper Dream Max + 4 other models.
All but 1 of Casper's previous line (the Snow) was using fiberglass.
That fact + the fact that Casper hasn't been crystal clear on their product specs pages that it doesn't have fiberglass, makes me think that it probably does use fiberglass. That said...that's just a guess.
My thinking is that most brands that don't use fiberglass are really proud of that fact. So it's super easy to find the information on their website. In cases where that isn't the case it's a reasonable assumption to make that the brand is using fiberglass.

Hi @NapLabReviews I am going nuts trying to figure out what mattress I should buy for my body type. I want to feel… ahhh comfy in my bed. I am a petite female, side sleeper, sometimes back with a bony body. Only weigh 109 lbs. Most mattresses feel too hard for me. I have tried the Layla and did not like it. Also a Costco Novaform which was not comfy enough.I think Casper says the Dream would work for me? I was also looking at Puffy or Purple. I want it to be a quality mattress worth owning. Prefer it to be 12-15 inches high. I am looking for a queen. I don’t care about cool. Prefer to be warm. LOL. Can you help point me figure out something? Tired of sleeping on the couch or floor

At your body weight I would suggest something in the "soft" category. Anything firmer than that and it's just going to be too firm. It's not surprising that Layla and Novaform were too firm, as they are more typical medium to medium-firm feel. Casper's Dream, Puffy, and Purple are all in a similar category...just too firm (even in their softer options, which are still mostly "medium" feels).
The ones that jump out to me as good options include:
      Winkbed (soft) - naplab.com/go/winkbed-mattress
      Amerisleep AS5 Hybrid - naplab.com/go/amerisleep-as5-hybrid-mattress
      Helix Sunset Luxe - naplab.com/go/helix-sunset-luxe-mattress
That said, there are others listed here - naplab.com/best-mattress/best-soft-mattress/ - That could also be a good fit for you.

Might be petty but I don’t care for the new look of the lineup. They were much more classy before. That giant blue panel at the foot of the bed is really ugly.
