The sequence of five notes starting at 0:40 seconds always makes me think I'm listening to Star Wars for a split second… I couldn't find a specific song with those notes, but the A-G#-F#-A… F# sequence is very Star Wars-esque. I love this song… haven't heard it until just now. Thank you, John Williams.
This is my favourite song of the Harry Potter movies (with The Chamber of Secrets closely behind). What I don't understand about this performance is why the conductor decided to play it significantly slower than the original. Played in the original speed, it's such a sparkling theme. This is too slow for me 😞

Yun Kim Ha yes- exactly. After posting this comment I went through most of the Star Wars music catalogue and came to the same conclusion.
Jay Flippen John Williams wrote the sound track to both harry potter and star wars, so thats probebly why
