Thanks for the review, however you are featuring lots of mythics. You should omit mythic from a draft review because they aren't going to show up too often. Focus on good uncommons and a few rares

Splashing is where you have a smaller presence of a color in your deck. For example, say you are playing White Black, but you want to play a really good Red card or two. If you are playing a couple cards that don't fit your main colors, that is what you'd call a splash. You're playing White Black and splashing in Red. Splashing certainly brings some pros and cons with it. Usually you splash to fill a gap your main colors don't have - like removal spells, or to up your power level by splashing in some big bombs. The con to splashing is it lowers a decks consistency, because now you need a 3rd color of mana in your deck. Hope that helps!
I see you got time to look at the set. Pretty nuts, eh? That might be a squirrel pun. I'm probably splurging and going in for my only box of the year. I've been looking forward to this set for a while and there's a ton of potential value to make my budget decks a bit better. MH1 was my first draft but I'm going to pass on this one. Draft and a box? I'm not made of cash! Are you drafting this one?
I’m hoping to get to a prerelease, which seems insane, but might be my only chance to play with it in a limited environment - I would love to draft it but not sure if I’ll get a chance with no LGS nearby.
Ok so I intend to try and force squirrels at prerelease, am I better off in abzan for white's anthems and counters, or sultai, for those blue token/squirrel cards? Obviously the pulls are the final determining factor, but as a general thing?
Hmmm close, and yeah the pulls will determine it, but I’d look at blue first. Remember modular only hits other artifact creatures which can get awkward in some situations. If you get those green payoff cards though I think you’ll be in a great situation. Good luck!
Thank you, not a lot of people creating strategy content for mh2 limited.
Thanks for the vid! Gonna do my first MH2 dradt in 2 hours, I'm excited!
Hope you enjoyed it! What'd you end up playing?
I got a pretty decent GW +1+1 Counters deck, but in hindsight I think I should take more risk next time. Was fun tho and a great set!
Thanks for the rundown. Going to try Sealed tonight and need an idea of what to expect!
Good luck!!
How'd it go?
What worked and what didn't? Anything that was surprisingly good or bad?
Really good. Can't wait for the premier draft now. Thanks!
You and me both!
Thanks for this video! Now I feel more ready for my FNM
Great video! thanks for your efforts
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow I'm surprised mh2 is going to have a pre release. I'm not gonna lie this set looks fun for limited, it's just... The price tag. Que sad cat meme
It looks awesome to play! But paying $70 or so for one seems...ridiculous.
@@MountainManMagic yes, yes it is
I encourage you to look around some at some shops! My shop is doing pre-release for $45. I've also heard $55 and $65.
@@moist__owlette UWU noice
@@moist__owlette yeah mine was 60 ... steep but better than 70! 🥲
thank you !!
You’re very welcome!

What does splash mean?

70 bucks for the prerelease kit?
I paid 40 bucks in Japan.
US prices are always inflated.

This is a great set to play draft and then buy singles you may need. Dont buy boxes for MH2! Save your money for AFR!
Let's go!!!!!
Buddy, if you were here, we'd definitely go to one!

@@MountainManMagic Yeah. I think I'll go white if I can get my hands on a mirari's wake, but it's not likely otherwise. Thanks for the tip!
