Having been taught this very briefly in undergrad and in only one course, I didn't remember much of what to do or how to do it. This video was a great refresher of what steps to take to calculate the z score as well as to detect any outliers.
Not only did I find this video helpful in how to calculate a modified z score, but I also found it helpful that it was explained why this would be an important calculation to make such as when using a small data set.
This video is a great learning tool for practice with Z scores in relation to SPSS. From what I am learning about this topic in the textbook I am reading from, as well as in one of my courses, this information has assisted me in gaining more knowledge on the topic.

FInding the median to identify numerator in an equation, absolute value and Z score was very helpful and interesting. Seeing the arrangement that is followed. General rule and how this computes in the video it helps identify the outliers.
It's interesting how many features are on excel that are used in statistics. This video shows the step by step for calculating modified z score without spending a lot of time

The calculation in itself appears difficult for me but the video does simplify it.
I teach elementary school and the only word I recognized in this video was the word mean. I teach mean in Math but nothing to this extent.
