Linda, I Truly love watching you and want you to know I’ve watched you transform on this channel to a confident inspiring lady. You are beautiful from inside as well as physical. You inspire me at 71 to live my best life ever. Your gardens, your decorating, your thrifting …it keeps me smiling. Always stand proud and know you are a blessing to me.
These New England towns just take my breath away. Being out here in the San Francisco Bay Area, I wish I could live in a picturesque town like these. The little streams and waterfalls and snow and historic homes and shops are like being in a movie. The inn looked so charming. I probably would have slept like a baby and missed that beautiful walk . I wish this video just went on and on!
Just hearing the words SIMON PEARCE makes me happy .I have so much pieces that I have collected. Vases ,hurricanes ,frames ,lamps but my True love is my Forest, maybe more than 30 ,I don’t count,I put them out the day after Thanksgiving and leave till Easter. Some day I will be there to visit. I started collecting about 5-6 years ago late fall ,when I bought my first tree i said I only want ONE ,then I said 3 then 5 …..the rest is history……my FOREST. So many pieces were gifts ,I feel very blessed
So much fun to ride and walk along as you go about the town. I truly enjoy these (and all) your videos. Congratulations on your affiliations with these stores. We appreciate seeing what might be on offer in your shop! ❤
Thank you so much for taking us along. I live in the south but was born in NH (where my mother was from). New England will always hold a special place in my heart.
This trip was so full of my wonderful Vermont memories. My husband and I went to Woodstock many times, year round. Love the restaurants and shops. Nowhere like New England. Angel hugs from Florida.
Linda...just caught this video, and it was so charming. I loved following you along on this trip. I know my soul was meant to live in New England even though I grew up in Ohio and currently live in Tennessee. I have on my bucket list to go to the Woodstock Inn. I so enjoy your channel and all your decorating posts. Keep taking us to wonderful places and showing us the New England ways. ❤
Linda, I enjoyed this video so much, only wishing it was longer! I’ve been to the Woodstock Inn and while there, I felt like I was in a mini-Williamsburg, which I adore! Thank you so much for sharing!
Linda I appreciate you too. You are such a force to be reckoned with. Adventurous, a teacher and you have so many gifts and talents. I’ve always wanted to go to Woodstock Inn. It looks beautiful and I loved your cozy room. Thank you for the walking tour Many blessings pretty lady ♥️
Thank you so much for that pleasant and relaxing tour, Linda!!! Every heart has a "home", and Vermont has my husband wrapped around its finger. After traveling throughout Vermont over the years, I find my partner happy and at peace the minute we set foot in the State. Simon Pearce in Quechee was breathtakingly serene, and it was admirable watching the glass blowers create pieces in the open right along the waterfall shoreline. Woodstock was very affluently New England-y (lol), and the shops were classy, romantic and whimsical all at the same time.
My parents had a summer home in Bradford VT for over 20 years and when I would visit my mother and I would drive to Woodstock we went to Simon Pearce and watched the glass blowers and toured the gift shop it was beautiful. I love shopping in the down town area , this brings back memories. My parents sold their home 2 years ago and I miss visiting the small towns around the area.
@@cindyd.5507 I’ve just recently started a blog about the progress and will do a channel as well. I don’t know if you ever went north on Rt. 5. We are restoring the big, old, abandoned inn over in Ryegate.
What a fun video to watch Linda. It brings back memories. I’ve never been to the glass company…. Amazing! I always learn something new from you! Again, many thanks.😃
Always so Inspiring & Thank You for sharing your trip to Vermont. I would love it. Since I love flannel I'm going to look up the Vermont Flannel Co. At 65 I am inspired to create my home of 3 yrs into my happy place. Looking forward to Spring & planting some beautiful things.
Linda, I loved this! Living in CT my whole life, I have been to Vermont too many times to count. Woodstock, Manchester and Dorset Vermont are some of my favorite places. I love Simon Pierce and Quechee Gorge. I am so looking forward to what may be included in the Christmas box. My husband and I used to stay at a lovely bed and breakfast which was called the Apple Butter Inn, but I don't believe it is there anymore. We may have to try the Woodstock Inn. Have a wonderful week. ❤
My husband Roger helped Simon Pearce when they both were creating their hydro plants... loaning them equipment to get started! I love their glassware... gorgeous!
What an absolutely beautiful Inn. I’m like you, before calling for help I’ll figure it out and if I have a small pocket screwdriver on hand (yes, I carry one, it’s small like a pen and has flat on one end and Phillips on the other) I’ll fix it 😂. Thanks for taking us along on this wonderful trip❣️
I love Woodstock, Vermont! My husband and I have visited since 2006. We had just bought a new Jeep Wrangler and took it on a road trip to Woodstock and we got a N’or Eastern snow storm! Can you tell me what store you were in that had the old prints and pillows, glasses, soaps etc when you first got into town and shopped? I have to go there next visit! We live one and a half hours away in NH Lakes Region. It would be such a pleasure to be able to say hello if we ever crossed paths! Wonderful pictures of Woodstock.
I think that is some of the most beautiful historical part of the country. I always feel like I’m right there!! I love the glass shop, as my great uncle was a glassblower. I still have a couple of sets of martini pitchers and small glasses. Thanks for the wonderful video!!!
This mini trip to Vermont was so great. For me to see Vermont in white in February from Southern California, it was like a transported visual escape. Loved it all. Thank you for sharing a most pleasant and beautiful little getaway!!
I’ve been to Woodstock and stayed at The Woodstock Inn. We had dinner at Simon Pierce overlooking the falls. It was a very special evening. I love Woodstock. I’m happy to hear of your collaboration with Simon Pierce.
What a wonderful excursion this was, Linda. Thank you for taking us along with you, to the various locations, and for filling us in on present, and future endeavors. I enjoyed every minute. ❄️ 🛣 🏤💖🤗
I was drawn to your channel because we share similar tastes in design. Imagine my horror when I saw an article the other day saying that English country home is the new thing. Blast! Now my favorite antique/consignment/thrift stores are going to be cleaned out lol! My kingdom for antique furniture that hasn't been painted
I am thrilled to hear this. We were visiting my parents recently, and my mother said she'd heard that "they" were going to stop making wood furniture and only make metal. We queried her as to who "they" were, and where she'd heard this. She THINKS she heard it on HGTV or in Real Simple magazine, and we were relieved when we heard the potential sources, as we are all about wood furniture. I'm still not convinced that she didn't dream it, as she is a fan of contemporary metal furniture.
Lovely video! I’m a huge fan of Simon Pearce (glass) as well as Andrew Pearce (wood). Thank you for taking us along on this latest adventure. I admire your restraint, btw - you must’ve passed some tempting thrifting opportunities. ❤
I love when you take us along on your beautiful New England journeys...I can feel my heart belongs there too. You make me want to move to a New England state. ❤
Thank you for exposing me to the New England area! I love your videos so seeing these new sights is wonderful! I am from Ohio love seeing all of this with you! Hugs
What a beautiful town and Inn. Thank you for taking us along and I am grateful for you, Linda. Your posts are so much fun and I learn something with each one!
My husband and I stayed at the Woodstock Inn a dozen years ago in a cold December when visiting his New England roots. It is a lovely town and Inn. Your video brought back such nice memories.
Wonderful video. Several years ago, we did a road trip of the East Coast with some friends. Simon Pearce was at the top of my list. We had lunch at their beautiful restaurant and then did some shopping in the store. I purchased his Celebration Bowl which I will treasure forever. We live in Illinois. Thank you for jogging my memory of that special time.
I enjoy your videos, and they inspire me! I hope to visit New England in the future and see some of the places you feature. You always have interesting projects. You two have made a beautiful home.
Linda, the only thing that I seen was that you start watching your tour and bam the video is over just wasn’t long enough lol. One day on my bucket list I want to come visit your area 😃😃 your friend in Athens Georgia 🥃
Thank you Linda for this video. It's been six years since we were in woodstock. Watching made it seem like only yesterday. Such fond memories. I look forward to Sunday evenings and your videos. Kindest regards Donna, uk

I love these excursions!!My best friend and I are going to Vermont in May! We’re staying in White River Junction and we’re going to venture into New Hampshire to explore a bit! I’m so excited!!🥰🥰🥰
Fun ride! Even though I'm not that far from Woodstock that I couldn't get there in two hours or so, I haven't been to the Inn (where I enjoyed a fabulous Sunday brunch) or to Simon Pearce's shop and restaurant in Quechee in many years. It was lovely to revisit both again, decades later, through your eyes this time. I've also admired Simon's elegant glassware and other items for years, too, so it's terrific that you are resuming your relationship with the company. I look forward to seeing the items that you choose to carry. Glad you got to enjoy some time away for work and took us along and even had a close encounter (in writing) with another Kindred Spirit!
I love going on these excursions with you Linda. I have been to so many places I never would have seen otherwise.
I'm so glad you love my little getaways! More to come for sure!
Wish the video was longer. I so enjoy them
Yes! Could have watched it and soaked in the ambience for ages...

Love this but too short😢
I know it was a shorty today, but for some reason it took me longer to edit LOL.
Lovely trip, thank you for sharing! Enjoyed!
The glassware is a beautiful addition. I enjoy watching your trips. I live in Southern Maryland, but I feel like a New Englander at heart.
Thank you for sharing. 😊 Woodstock Vermont is one of my favorite places to visit 😍
