Post nerf VII still has:
-Longest lasting base kit magazine in the game minus Raum.
-One of, if not the fastest reload in the game.
-Fastest moving character in the game
-Most verticle and horizontal mobility in the game
-4 different damage sources, and 3 weapon modes
-one of the strongest ults, doing both dmg and fearing everyone in you LOS
-some of the highest burst in the game, which is infinitely spam-able on anyone.
So yeah

.5 second too late to get out when encountering someone unexpectedly.. your full hp becomes 0
Looking at wrong direction when flicking to safety.. get stuck and dies
