Boomerang Revamped Lineup for 2024

- Cartoon Network's sister channel Boomerang has finally updated their schedule and show lineup right at the start of 2024! Even though it's good the channel has more variety during the overnight timeslots, the daytime schedule is a bit repetitive and bland.
It's a miracle how this relatively niche and sparsely available channel has been able to survive this far despite the unforgiving media landscape of the 2020's decade, let's see how much longer Boomerang can hang in there or maybe even return to it's glory days (or the impossible: become a digital subchannel).

It’s nice to see Boomerang get its act together lately. But I thought it was already improving around the summertime last year when Popeye, Jetsons, flinstones, wacky races, top cat etc came in the channel. But I will agree, this is best schedule boomerang did so far. But I don’t think it’s necessary to loop the schedule on weekdays with a few shows. Sure it does reminiscence the days when boomerang used to loop their scheduling on their channel back in the early 2000s, but they could’ve put in some more shows in that weekday lineup. But it’s still better than nothing. Because at least it’s not just Tom and Jerry and Looney tunes all day that’s for sure, and at least other HB shows like wacky races, Flinstones, yogi bear etc. Got a chance to air in a daytime slot. Despite that, at least the channel did have more variety than CN right now .

You know< this actually makes me feel hopeful. I mean, the whole reasons they’ve revamped their lineup was because of kids watching cable tv less and less. So maybe in the near future, they’ll change the branding. Hopefully something meant to capture the essence of the original audience this network was met at, or an essence that captures the spirit of the types of shows they’re meant to air. Something much better than what we have now.
You know, I never experience old boomerang myself much. I was born in the late 2000s. The biggest memories I have of this old version of the network are: the boomerang theater bumpers, the banana splits theme from the boomerang-a-long and the “lights out” bumpers featuring all of those lamps. It’s not much, but at least it’s something.
Yep, same reason they launched Checkered Past! It would be cool if they added 2 Stupid Dogs or SWAT Katz back to the lineup, but unfortunately they do not have any usable master tapes on their list.
Also I hope someday Boomerang has another rebrand, the current one is very boring, flat, has the bland corporate artstyle, and is very repetitive. The current branding is nearly a decade old.

All we need now is for the channel to rebrand. (New logo, bumpers, narrator, etc)
It would be cool if they brought back old music videos from the past like Yogi Bear, Josie and the Pussycats, etc. during commercial breaks.
We need the classic boomerang bumpers but a little more up to date. A cn city won't be a bad rebrand for boomerang
The generic corporate artstyle branding Boomerang is using is really repetitive, old, and boring. It's been almost a decade since they last rebranding, so they should adopt Boomerang Thailand's branding.

if only nicktoons could bring their old shows on the schedule again.
Nicktoons channel hasn’t been the same since like after 2013. Because back in the day especially when nicktoons was ‘Nicktoons Network’ it used to have so much variety of shows. But i thought the channel as at its best from 2005-2009 when it was Nicktoons network. Because it had lots of variety of originals and acquired shows like Martin Mystery, Three delivery, Kappa Mikey etc. Around 2009-2014, while I might not be too fond of the rebrand back then. At least it still has more variety than the main Nicklodeon channel back then. But that’s where it started to it became a channel for shows that came out during the 2000s- early 2010s. We had invader zim, MLAATR, Danny phantom, Jimmy neutron, Avatar the last airbender etc. 2009-2014 is when the 90s nicktoons started going away. But it didn’t bother me because most of those did aired on that 90s are all that lineup on Teennick back then.
I mean, what’s wrong with the 2014 to 18 rebrand?
Seems like Boomerang is starting to Thanos Nicktoons into oblivion. Boomerang is like Thanos, Nicktoons is like Vision, and the Mind Stone that Thanos took out of Vision as his way of killing Vision in Infinity War is the scheduling. And Wanda/Scarlet Witch in Infinity War represents Paramount trying to defend Nicktoons' schedule to death in spite of its poor scheduling nowadays.

It's really nice that they started to care about boomerang. It's always nice to see new things there! Shame it doesn't exist anymore where i live :( but i can always stream it!

The Boomerang App is a mess. I was watching Foghorn Leghorn and it kept going to a different show. The shows were labeled incorrectly as well. What are these devs doing ?

Boomerang is clearly what Nicktoons wishes it could have been in its current state. Because who cares about Paramount Plus being the only option to binge watch classic Nick shows.
Paramount Plus is still a glitchy mess, simple things like fast forwarding crashes the app. I made a whole video about it

Okay hopefully I'm wrong about Boomerang not lasting they seem to be doing better. Hopefully they can go back how they once were. Because unlike Cartoon Network which has Adult Swim during the night hours, Boomerang is a 24/7 channel so its nice to see them taking Adventage of that. I hope they bring the original Teen Titans to Boomerang provied Adult Swim doesn't get to it first and put it on Checkered Past which I hope happens because I do get Cartoon Network but I don't have Boomerang.
okay the reason for them removing KND is because they have been airing it non-stop since june 2021 aren't you getting tired of boomerang airing it that's the same reason they took chowder off cause i had the same problem with codename kids next door
True, but Chowder has been gone for quite some time now, they should bring back reruns. Not just that, both series have enough seasons of episodes to warrant syndication

Boomerang needs to have the rights to air the original Tiny Toon adventures the original Animaniacs Pinky and the brain and freakazoid

@ArtieRaccoonReviews Nickelodeon had the rights to air the original Tiny Toon Adventures series all along and Cartoon Network used to have the rights for Animaniacs and Pinky and the brain because of both theme songs released in Cartoon Network Cartoon medley album from 1999 until Nickelodeon bought the rights to air them in 2001

Yes, I strongly dislike the current branding. It's too bright, flashy, and nauseating.
Well I did use boomerang for a while and I liked it but got bored and it's missing so many shows I would say they should add more shows they can charge more and also make it better and people will pay for it like if they had every single show and the classic bumpers and maybe they can add the live stream of boomerang to the app
I hate to say it but ever since Dave left the channel has gotten repetitive again
