A dramatic drive through a pretty Cotswold village ! Its great to see an unspoilt old church without tatty eyesore repairs on them. Excellent Saxon church in a very scenic setting and a lovely stone bult village.
I enjoyed this visit so much! I was a little bit worried about hitting another driver head on during the ride to the church, but I loved the landscape, the old town, and the road too. I thought how many feet keep the path worn, and how many people have heard the word of God from those pews, and how many generations have loved this place. Thank you for filling this venerable Saxon Church with your song and your organ music! And thank you for inviting us to come along!
Hi Patsy. thank you everso much for leaving a comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the journey. I must admit to feeling a bit like a child awaiting xmas presents when I visit such places - Not in a material sense but my spirit is brimming with excitement!
First video I watch (RUclips recommended it because I'm subscribed to Walking the Wyrd which also shows beautiful churches and nice countryside sceneries) and I already love this channel! This kind of videos are really relaxing and the places are so fascinating
Maybe because he is a fallible human being, prone to errors? 🤔 Alas, it is out there now and can only be rectified by its removal. 🫣 I'm sure most people who have a church interest would want to see the video, anyway, so I'll keep it as it is
Hi Julian. Thanks for your feedback. 🤗 Granted, it was dark in places inside this small Saxon church, and t'was a dim winters day (driving in places against the sun), though, I've rewatched it and can see most of it clearly. Just wondering what device you saw it on and whether or not the screen (?) light was on max or not? 🤔.
@@HimInChurch Possibly, I just reviewed on my main monitor. The bit of you playing the harmonium is still quite dark. I thought the Norman chancel arch was nice.
LOVE this
Glad to hear it, thanks 🤗

That’s so lovely to hear, so, thank you. I hoped to bring some of the tranquility and beauty of such places into the viewers mind/heart. 🥰

Ah thanks for clarifying - helps me address issues. Glad you liked the chancel arch 👍
